Publisher's Summary

In the stunning conclusion to the Supernatural Prison trilogy, Jessa Lebron finds herself deep in the world of Larkspur, the dragon king. She will have to play it smart and fight with everything to stay one step ahead of him and while at times it's tough to keep her focus, she will do anything to escape and reunite with her boys, the Compass quads. Of course, it's impossible to be where she is and not dig deeper into the curse of the dragon mark. As more information is uncovered, she starts to understand why she, of all supernaturals, was the one to be singled out. And this changes everything she thought she knew. Turns out she doesn't know a damn thing. There will be decisions to make. Tough decisions. Jessa has to be strong enough for the sake of the supernatural races, but sometimes that's easier said than done.

A Decent Ending

Dragon Mated (which doesn't mean what you think it does) brings the story of Jessa, her family, the Compass quads, and Louis tighter together while they seek a way to kill Larkspar and end his plans of absolute tyranny. In this installment, we spend more time in fairy-land and learn more about Jessa's dual-shiftiness.

At the end of book 2 Jessa and the quads were separated and Jessa was in the clutches of the evil King Larkspur, or Larkie, as Jessa calls him (either way...a STUPID name). Luckily, Jessa got free of the nutbag rather quickly and was reunited with her boys. Louis had a big role in this book and Braxton got his chance to really shine. Mischa is still just as whiny and pathetically needy as she's always been. But I guess we had to have one character who doesn't learn and grow from the experiences she endures.

There is a lot of action in this book and the relationships deepen. But I have to say that I was disappointing with the sheer amount of bad language in the book. Call me a square if you want, but when every other word is a swear word, I fully believe the author couldn't come up with anything better. And the redundancy of the swearing is even worse.

My BIGGEST problem with this book is Jessa. The first two books built her up so much as this general butt-kicker alpha, but the truth is she is just another pretty face waiting for her brawny, beautiful male protectors. Her inner monologue is so much "he's going to get an ass-kicking" or "I'm going to rip her face off." But when push comes to shove...nothing. She runs away more than she fights and it makes all the build up of her personality more than a little ridiculous.

Overall, it was a decent close to the story because of the action and the characters other than Jessa.

3rd book sucks

This book was poorly written. Grossly written with swearing and parts make to me say...oh fuck come on! Such sloppy writing. Series was enjoyable until the last book. Now I’m glad it’s over! Very disappointed.

Awesome series

I purchased the audible version of this series and listened while cooking dinner and cleaning the kitchen. It made a chore enjoyable (but sometimes dinner was a little toasty). I can't wait to read the companion books about the other Compasses.

NOOO! I don't want it to be over!

Again, I don't really feel like taking the time to write a review, because I NEED to start Broken Compass immediately. This was a fantastic conclusion to Jessa and Braxton's story. Shocking twists, crazy mated males, evil Dragon King, and amazing Faerie lands fill this non-stop final installment of Jaymin Eve's Supernatural Prison series. Thank the Gods the Compass boys are getting their own books, because I am NOT ready to exit this world.

Good trilogy however could've been better

This was a good book and the trilogy ended nicely with mostly everything wrapping up nicely. I was disappointed that the characters didn't grow at all since the first book. The characters never seem to use many descriptive words - more so just general terms which make it hard to listen to. It also seemed that certain details were just thrown in to provide more story lines - it didn't fit or was not thought out properly. However, those side plot lines could be there to set up another book - but still seemed out of place.

The narration was well done. Dara Rosenberg did a great job differentiating characters as well as being a good storyteller.

All in all this was a good trilogy however it could've been better.

Sexy and satisfying

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dragon Mated?

Loved the ending of this prison volume. The final battle was worth the wait. Jessa's talk about food is always amazing. Loved the continued tension and sexy sceens with Braxton.

Must read this

Dragon Mated is book three and the finale in Jaymin Eve’s Supernatural Prison Trilogy series. This book continues off where book two Dragon Mystics ends so if you haven’t read books one and two stop now, don’t go ahead, don’t read this review or any others and it’s going to spoil lots of the other 2 books. Jessa is put through hell in this last book. But like always she has her guy with her. But her and Braxton *swoon! I am jealous and envious of them. Yes that’s right, you read me correctly I am Jealous of the relationship between fictional characters. I can admit it. So many twists and turns are happening in this book. Jessa learns so much more about herself, the Compasses, Larky lol, Josephina and more. I feel that three books isn’t enough and Jaymin may need to look at exploring at giving us another but in Braxton’s POV. After the ending of book two I was really hoping this book would have a few chapters in his but unfortunately it wasn’t. But here’s to hoping that in the future we may be lucky enough to to get a mother book down the track. The Dragon King/Lakspur/Larky/King-d*ick (whatever Jessa called him), has finally come back and now he has come for Jessa. But the evil that everyone had talked about that terrorised all the Supernatural 1,000 years ago is not the man in front of Jessa. This guy is trying to seduce her, why? He has his army of Dragon Marked ready and waiting so why was he in his castle with Jessa. Jessa meets the Shining ones that help her with an item that will help fight the Dragon King. Whilst finding out that she is Dragon Mated and what that means and why she is a dual shifter, but it’s not such a good thing. Once again our favourite Quad’s and Louis are right beside Jessa, helping her to bring down the Dragon King and save the Supernaturals. I just can’t not get over that the dynamics between them all it is so strong and powerful, that the fear Jessa felt about exploring what she was feeling for Braxton was going to destroy her relationship with the others was for nothing. If anything it’s made the more stronger. Again a very enjoyable book, I thing this is a series that will be one that I may continue to reread and own the track. I just love the characters, the humour, and bonds between them is so enjoyable to read and I am a little said that is now over. I did see that there is another series that will follow the other brothers but I will miss not having Braxton as a strong man character. I will say it again I want a book to be written in his POV, especially if his brothers are getting one, the Dragon Shifter will not be pleased or happy that he won’t get one and neither will I 😉.
