Charlie thought building a spaceship had been tough, so being king should be a piece of cake. Unfortunately, it was like a cake made of cement. Hard to swallow, and just might kill him.

It was good being king, or so Charlie had believed. After an abrupt crash arrival, people had finally stopped trying to kill him - for the most part, anyway - and his new subjects respected him. Or feared him. It was sort of hard to tell, what, with the ginormous dragon who had eaten the previous king standing right behind him.

In any case, Charlie was now ruling this realm as best he knew how. And it all seemed to be going well. But he worried it wouldn’t last, and just his luck, word of a strange new threat soon reached his ears. A threat that might even have a bit of magic on their side. Of course, that was impossible on this non-magical world, but he had begun to accept that the impossible seemed to follow him wherever he went, like a hungry dog lurking in his shadow.

Faced with an unseen enemy, Charlie had to not only keep his friends safe, but the people who looked up to King Charlie as well. It was going to be a hell of a task, and the spaceman from Earth only hoped he was up for the challenge.

everyone knows when you first arrive, you need to ask the year, you know you're traveling through time.

Travels through time and space with all type of characters in the mix.

I love this book it was great I have enjoyed the series immensely .
I am going to the next book right away.
If you would like to travel from place to place meeting different characters in different scenarios and getting in and out of trouble this book is for you.

Holy crap!

This sequel, is probably one of the best in the series so far. the first two books did a great job of building up to this point, and this capstone's the trilogy wonderfully. That being said , I know this is not the last book and I cannot wait until audible gets the rest of them so I can keep it going.

Yet another stunner and a great continuation of the series. Love the action scenes and the interactions of the characters. Can’t wait for the next one

Great Series

I love this series. seeing how MC relates to people he comes across and the reactions are very relatable. Also the characters depth is amazing.

FANTASTIC SERIES

So good. So happy l found this writer and as dragons are my favourite and one joins the story l love it. There is humour, smarts and brawn all mixed togeather in an action packed tale of never ending change and challenge. You must read/listen in order for full understanding and enjoyment.
Recommended.

The story might be a little more interesting if the narrator did some inflection.

The best part is the last 1/4 of the book, the rest is really slow.
