Publisher's Summary

I was just your average college anthropology student. I went to class, worked my minimum-wage job, and studied for exams.

Until I discovered that monsters are real and that I can summon the most powerful of them all: dragons.

Now, I’m a Dragon Conjurer working for a secret agency/academy that protects the world from monsters behind the scenes, and two of the most beautiful girls I’ve ever met are in my squad and super into me.

And it seems that they don’t mind sharing.

Life is about to become awesome.

Is Eric even trying anymore?

the Mc is a marry sue and he gets everything easy its totaly easy barely an inconvenience has if there is a higher being just giving him everything its like he is the male version of rey palpatine has far has the story went and this is why I'm returning this boring book for my credit.

the talented Alex Perone and Marissa Parness couldn't save this audio book.

It hurt my ears to listen

The prose was juvenile, the team interactions were comically 16 year old, testosterone-driven fantasy dreams and the plot was so superficial that it sounded like a "See Johnny Run" book would seem like a level up.

However, given that, Alex Perone pulled-off the beta male MC as well as could be expected given how the dialog was written and Marissa Parness performed extremely well when given her adult passages.

Regrettable, this is my first 2-star rating in a very long time.

Not the authors best work

I have read many books by this author and I can say this is NOT one of his best works. The premise is good and the introduction to the main characters is good, but the story really doesn’t lead to anything. The ending seems very anti- climactic

Its like this book is by a 15 year old boy

I think this book is trying to pitch itself as something like magic-using Xmen, which it kinda does but the plot is ridiculously thin.

Basically this book is a string of words that hooks together fight and sex scenes.

The main character goes from being an average college student, (who just happens to study the folklore of monsters) to leading a team of magic users who work for secret, shadowy, poorly explained agency of some kind. This agency sends its teams all over North America to fight monsters who are the cause of every major natural disaster. They fight monsters and save the world

You get the idea.

The thing is this book only takes place over something like 72 hours. He **literally** goes from college student to super hero over night.

Oh and 2 of his 3 team mates are super attractive women who blatantly want to have sex with him. And they do, repeatedly. There's a few very graphic passages. In fact these passages are longer than some of the fight scenes. Oh and the 4th team mate is his new best buddy who has absolutely no interest in the 2 absurdly hot women he spend most of his time with.

Decent narrators thought. So there's that.

Cool New Series

Fun new series from Eric Vall. I enjoyed listening too it. A little too fast paced for me, but still good. I hope future books will leave a little more time between events.

Super entertaining as someone who loves dragons. Just need more emphasis and information on them, but otherwise it was a great book

Great new Eric Vall book

I loved this book and the voice actors for this novel. I would be sad if there were no more books to be bought from the series on Audible. Please continue to publish more of Dragon Conjurer it has replaced my favorite series Metal Mage.

Nice!!

This is a story about an average college kid on his way to work and stumbles on the existence of mythical beings. When he accidentally mispronounces a word in latin, suddenly he realizes he can summon dragons. He gets inadvertently sucked into joining a MIB-type organization and travels the globe protecting humans in secret from the mythical monsters that would otherwise destroy the planet.

The narration team is excellent at fleshing out the characters and bringing them to life.
