🔸️🔸️ NICE story 🔸️🔸️

This was the first book that I listened to by T Torrest and I was pleasantly surprised! There was a lot of depth to the story and held my interest from the beginning. It was a great story that didnt have a lot of drama or sex. I feel like Jo Raylan puts a lot into her narration.

Heartbreak and Truth

This is a captivating discovery! I stumbled upon this heartwarming tale that delves into the realities of young love. The narration is impeccable, and I'm now a fan of the author's work. Enjoy the listen.

Good Listen

So this one caught my eye because I enjoy Alexander Cendese and the title drew me because I am born and bred Jersey so "Down the Shore" is pretty specific to us and I do like getting stories set in places I know. I was pleasantly surprised to get mentions of places I grew up knowing and loving with accurate depictions of driving times and locations and I thank the narrator gods no one tried a terrible Jersey accent. I was disappointed that there was only one part in Jack's POV I really would have loved to get that. I found the whole premise very interesting and while I rarely read anything set in the past I did enjoy this it's right in my age bracket of growing up so it was very nostalgic on multi levels for me. There were a few references that were off timing wise (Jerry Maguire hadn't been release yet in this timeline) otherwise I did enjoy the story and narration was done extremely well.

Great story but the narration

The female narrator was the only voice until the last chapter. I personally would have read the book if I’d known because it took me 5 chapters to get passed the female narrators voice and I struggled the entire time honestly. The book itself is great and took me down memory lane even though I wasn’t quite old enough to experience all of what the book discussed, I was alive and remember the overall time, so it was like a time capsule. I highly recommend if you like the female author but I definitely suggest listening to a sample if you’ve never heard the author before. Enjoy!

This may start with your tipped rocker groupie, but it’s so much more. T. Torrest takes us on an emotional roller coaster. Jo Raylan has you feeling everything. Worth a credit? Yes,!

Don’t listen to chapter 48

Story moves at nice pace. Not a lot of repetitious internal monologue. Jo Raylan does excellent job with voices and pacing and emotions. And then the male narrator blows it up with a jarringly amateurish and mismatched voice and style. What was the casting director thinking?

ROCKSTAR LOVE

I liked this book. The storyline kept my interest. I absolutely loved the narration. Olivia didn't want love. Just a one-night stand for her was perfect. Jack on the other hand was tired of all the paying around. He wanted to do things different. No sex till after the 10th date. I loved Jack... until....
