🔸️🔸️ NICE story 🔸️🔸️

This was the first book that I listened to by T Torrest and I was pleasantly surprised! There was a lot of depth to the story and held my interest from the beginning. It was a great story that didnt have a lot of drama or sex. I feel like Jo Raylan puts a lot into her narration.

Heartbreak and Truth

This is a captivating discovery! I stumbled upon this heartwarming tale that delves into the realities of young love. The narration is impeccable, and I'm now a fan of the author's work. Enjoy the listen.

Good Listen

So this one caught my eye because I enjoy Alexander Cendese and the title drew me because I am born and bred Jersey so "Down the Shore" is pretty specific to us and I do like getting stories set in places I know. I was pleasantly surprised to get mentions of places I grew up knowing and loving with accurate depictions of driving times and locations and I thank the narrator gods no one tried a terrible Jersey accent. I was disappointed that there was only one part in Jack's POV I really would have loved to get that. I found the whole premise very interesting and while I rarely read anything set in the past I did enjoy this it's right in my age bracket of growing up so it was very nostalgic on multi levels for me. There were a few references that were off timing wise (Jerry Maguire hadn't been release yet in this timeline) otherwise I did enjoy the story and narration was done extremely well.

Great story but the narration

The female narrator was the only voice until the last chapter. I personally would have read the book if I’d known because it took me 5 chapters to get passed the female narrators voice and I struggled the entire time honestly. The book itself is great and took me down memory lane even though I wasn’t quite old enough to experience all of what the book discussed, I was alive and remember the overall time, so it was like a time capsule. I highly recommend if you like the female author but I definitely suggest listening to a sample if you’ve never heard the author before. Enjoy!
