In West Germany, a British agent is savagely murdered and left with a neo-Nazi sign carved into his back. In London, Tweed of the Secret Intelligence Service sends his most capable operator, Keith Martel, to replace the man—and to find the truth behind his death.

Very soon, the top four Western leaders—American, British, French and German—will be on their way to meet their Soviet counterpart in Vienna for a crucial summit. Tweed and Martel believe one of them is the target for assassination. They must urgently work out which one—or a nightmare will come true....

Double Jeopardy is the first in the Tweed & Co series of gripping and suspenseful spy thrillers—perfect for fans of John le Carré, Ken Follett, and Charles Cumming.

This book is my introduction to Colin Forbes. What took me so long? A fabulously, well written book brought to life by a fantastic narrator. It is a fast-paced, exciting, spy book that takes place in the 1980s with some great surprising twists. An absolute must listen! The narration made me feel as though I was part of the story, and I did not want it to end.

Well written book brought to life by a fantastic narrator.

The narrator was so over-dramatic it was hard to appreciate the writing, which I think really wasn’t bad. I would try another novel by this author but certainly not with this same narrator.

Cold War Bond-type spy stuff, poor narrator

This is so well-written and keeps getting better. Great narration. I’m hooked for the next Tweed.

Love it when a series leaves you wanting more.
