Rancher Ty Farraday's hunt for stray cattle takes a turn for the worse when he discovers a shallow grave and the body of wealthy Alton Winstead, the owner of the Double-Cross Ranch. The plot was good but horribly written

this book was hard to finish, totally unrealistic actions such as the snake gore and rushing into to root cellar and emptying his gun and placing all his attention on the girl knowing the bad guy was in there
