Audiobook Review

The story was well written with a good plot. But I felt there were to many pov’s and it was very predictable

Non Stop Action!

This is one of my top books of the year! Dan packs a punch! A very paced dual storyline will keep you guessing until the end! A serial killer thriller set in Florida, a wealthy family in the crosshairs. Not everything is as it appears. A gripping story. Very interesting characters, some that are not always on the up and up. This is easily a 5 star book. The narrator is superb.

Great Book

I think I loved the twists and turns the most, the ones that keep you guessing who the murderer is throughout. I did figure out one of them before they were revealed. I enjoyed how the two cases were intertwined. This was a great book and I can’t wait to listen to the next book.

Great story

The story was amazing and kept me interested and intrigued I loved it but the narrator wasn’t my fav. A little monotone and didn’t change her voice often with the amount of characters it made it a little hard to follow

A terrific story

Filled with twist and turns, this story will keep you listening with no stop until the end. The characters, particularly detective Carly and PI Tyree, are interesting and compelling. Three dimensional and deeply human, they are very easy to understand and sympathize with.

The plot was so well done! This was a great thriller, fast-paced and chilling. I most certainly will be coming back to this author.

Margaret Glaccum's narration was perfect.

Entertaining read

Double Blind, my third read/listen from author Dan Alatorre. I don't restrict myself to a particular genre. I'm a sucker for anything with memorable characters and a story that keeps me guessing and a plot that keeps me turning the page & this book did (third read, third different genre)! Narrator Margaret Glaccum’s narration added greatly to the book’s enjoyment. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. *SPOILER I thought the kill sequences were a bit over-the-top, but that's me. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Talk about surprises!!!

Carly and Sergio are detective in the Tampa police department. Throughout this book, they are chasing the serial killer that was hiding in plain sight, and had his eyes on Carly.

Suspenseful, gripping story had me at the edge of my seat!

The way this book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time…. I’ve been craving a good suspenseful crime thriller - and this hit the spot! I found it so easy to dive into the world + connect and care for the characters.

I was surprised by how gruesome some of the scenes were - some authors don’t take the more gory side. It was very well done. I felt as if I was watching this as a show/movie. I couldn’t get enough of it! The narration truly made a difference to this story, helping it come to life beautifully.

10/10 recommend the audiobook and this book in general! I had a great time & am looking forward to reading the next book!

Excellent

This was a book I came across on tiktok. Decided to give it shot, and I'm glad I did. The opening chapter was brutal, and the rest of the book kept me on my toes. Will definitely be reading the rest of the series.

Fast past, terrific thriller!

A mystery thriller that had plenty of twists to keep you turning the pages.
Attention grabbing action right from the beginning. Loved the different POV's from the lead detectives, the Private Eye and the serial killer. It let me piece together all the little clues as the story unfolded.
Great audio narration also.
Looking forward to more!
