Publisher's summary

Dark, powerful forces, willing to stop at nothing. A conspiracy deep-rooted throughout our institutions. A cyber attack. An EMP. Drone warfare. Americans caught in the crosshairs. Doomsday had begun.

Author Bobby Akart once again masterfully tells a tale of a nation on the edge of societal collapse. For decades, Americans had found themselves increasingly at odds with one another - politically, socially, and culturally.

In DOOMSDAY: APOCALYPSE, book one in the Doomsday series, it was New Year's Eve. As the ball dropped in Times Square, Americans were preparing for a new year and a fresh start. Instead they'll find themselves fighting for their lives as a fuse has been lit that sent the country into chaos.

A targeted EMP attack on several Mid-Atlantic states. A cyber attack disrupts transportation in Washington, D.C. Drones unleash dirty bombs and chaos in New York City. Chaos ensues at a packed concert venue in Atlanta. And, a seemingly unrelated plane crash in the small southern town of Mobile, Alabama, adds to the confusion.

In DOOMSDAY: HAVEN, the series continues as the gloves come off and a war erupts. The nation's political leaders failed to see the signs, and now ordinary Americans are caught in the crosshairs as a second civil war looms on the horizon.

As Americans struggled to survive, they sought a place of safety where they could ride out the coming storm. However, even if they can overcome the threats confronting them, will they bear witness to an America hell-bent on destroying itself?

This is a story of a nation divided, and what that portends for our future. Remember, all empires collapse eventually, and America will be no exception. Political suspense collides with post-apocalyptic thriller fiction as the Doomsday series continues with Haven.

I liked this book, got a few things wrong in philly, huntington park, firnhill, but I dident like the president spoke in full sentences which couldent be trump, eventhough he dident like the tweets, and he dident like the last president with no imfo on why.then theres the po po buy the people in the tunnel, im still trying to figure out if the guy in the plane crash is black, but im going to give it one more try with the next book.

It's another great book. Good narration,

Good story line. The bad part is that I have to keep buying the next book in order to finish. Wish I could buy it in a series instead of one at a time.

Excellent ...

This book has great detail and tons of background information leading up to a collapse and the beginning of it. Just wish each books were longer.

What a great series!

I am really enjoying this series. The people this far are all very normal and relatable. I am like and know plenty just like them. The story line to me is more realistic than the one emp that wipe out the US grid. I am buying book 3 as soon as I post my review. Great Job!

Great continuation of the story.

The forces of good and evil are starting to come together as the plot develops.

Ripped from the Headlines!

The Doomsday Series is a current, up-to-date series. This series captures what is going on in our beloved country right now. As a supporter of our President, it is refreshing to read a novel that shows how biased the Main Stream Media and the Democratic party is toward President Trump and we, his supporters. Thank you Bobby Akart for another fantastic series! Also, kudos to the Narrator, excellent performance!

Good follow up, kind of a cliffhanger ending.

I enjoyed the story, finding it engaging and believable. However, the audiobook loses one star for wasting the first thirty odd minutes of this installment in the series recapping the last book. In my case that is the book I just finished. This is a repeating theme throughout this series.

Once you fast forward through the recap, you will find the story gripping as each of our characters work their way toward safety in an urban landscape gone crazy. In spite of the above complaint, it is still worth a listen.
