Good series but low on steam

So my inner romance junkie is a little disappointed. Yes Nora finally goes all the way with some of her mates but there wasn’t any good description of what went on. I think the author missed so many opportunities to make this book a yummy gooey delicious mess but didn’t. I know there are authors out there that are uncomfortable with writing sex scenes but as a fan of RH, I expect steam.

Love this series

In the first book it was a little hard for me to get into but I’m glad I stuck with it. I love the characters and how they all grow and make each other stronger. The Narrator was born to read this book. All the inflections in her tones for the other characters was phenomenal. Hands down a truly enjoyable lovable series. So happy I stuck with it and you will be too.

Amazing way to end the series!

This final book focuses a lot on Nora's personal growth, allowing us to reflect on how far she's come from book 1. Completely surpasses expectations. Every moment was engaging and thrilling to listen to. This book really brings everything full circle, leaving nothing more to be desired. Incredibly well written and narrated!

Fifth book

All 4 books of the Nora Jacobs series were really good I just wish that there was a fifth book cause I would like to see what happens after the Fae signed the treaty and I would like to see what happens to Nora and her harem.

For the Love of All, Know Your Locale!

I want to start by saying I really really like this series, but being from Michigan & living in Metro Detroit, I have nits to pick with this series. Please learn the correct pronunciations & pick the right neighborhoods for your meals. Not necessarily in this book, but through the series, I struggle with wrong pronunciations- Mackinac & Mackinaw are pronounced the same! Much as I love Greektown, NO ONE goes there for falafels- you drive another couple of miles to Dearborn, or at the very least the middle eastern neighborhoods! Now skordalia? That’s worth the trip to Greektown!

Story seemed to have potential

Honest opinion, sorely, truly, really disappointed that I wasted credits/money on this entire series. I saw so much potential for this story, and was hoping for more, but no, it fell flat. The characters had SOME character development but it was not major nor enough, esp with how "badass strong" each of them were described to be, & that every crisis, and resolution was solved the same way over and over again. They got their asses handed to them the entire time, and yet somehow they are all supposed to be super powerful. It's giving, all bark and no bite.
Lastly, the narrator wasn't horrible, but wasn't ear catching either, I did get bored and zoned out a couple of times in each book, so there's that. Anyways, definitely really YA. Some YA books I've read/listened to were great, but this one, not my cup of tea.

Great ending to the series.

Loved it!
The story was fantastically written as expected from J. May.
I do wish there had been more details given when Norah was finally romantic with her men & really wanted a male reading the male characters parts but over all ,I was very satisfied with the final book in the series.

So this was the end....meh

A sad dull conclusion to a otherwise fairly good series. Nora is so painfully agreeing and excepting to any treatment of her. Every betrayal and lie told to her is just, “oh that makes sense, so it’s ok”. I understand she has a sad past and she’s been through a lot but umm CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT anyone?? The guys per usual are the best part of this book. I love all of their personalities and quirks. Which made the quick and underwhelming “love” scenes so horrible. They each deserved better!! The plot and villain were all too predictable. Overall I’m sad this is the last book because really this felt half-hearted and lazy.

Don't Tempt Me

I cannot believe this if the final book about Nora! Great ending to the story. Besides the amazing narration, the story was awesome. I was not sure if I was going to like it at the beginning but once I got through the first few chapters I got trapped into the story. So many plot twists that I didn't see coming. Poor Henry. I am more into dark romance so I was routing for him!

Addicting

I Love all the Nora Jacobs books. Really good but just a few things sometimes she comes off as childish and annoying. The constant nagging and childish behavior can be a little bit irritating. I also like the Shane series in the intertwining of the two characters in each others books I kind of see why she doesn’t really care for Nora she’s annoying too but this whole world revolves around Nora Jacob is sometimes a bit childish. The Shane series is good as well but she’s also childish it’s like the two main characters in both of her books have the most childish and irritating ways which can sometime be exhausting.
