PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT Ending to this awesome series! With the crazy cliffy ending in book 4 I was dying for book 5 (I only had to wait about 12 hours but that was 11:59 to long). I needed to see Gareth get his HEA and boy did he! This book made me cry, made me laugh and made my heart soar! I especially had a huge soft spot for Gareth's relationship with Sophia. The best thing about this series was the family closeness for me. After 5 books it kind of feels like I was part of the family and not that it's over I'm heart broken but only because I will miss them. Amy Daws gave us closure for each member of the family and every got a HEA of sorts. It couldn't have ended any other way in my eyes. I'm left feeling a little sad but really very happy hearted and so satisfied.

The narration was also perfect. I loved all 3 narrators and I especially loved that with the female lead being american a new narrator was brought in but the original female narrator also stayed on to keep the voices the same for the previous characters. Simply brilliant!!

Amy........ YOU are wonderful!

Thank you! For making me feel, and love, and cry! You hit this one on the mark. Spot on! I watched your YouTube videos. Don't you dare let those "twos" bother you. Do you hear me little one? I'm a 56-year-old single Mother and Grandma... and your books touch me. Carry on baby girl, be that silly, passionate, intelligent, soulful and beautiful woman you are. Please don't let me down.. I need your inspiration. Hugs my DEAR! LOVE!!!

Love and Understanding

Gareth and Sloan don’t just love one another, they meet each other’s needs. They join the rest of the Harris’s in creating an ever evolving beautiful family. Love them all!

great narration

I've read these kind of backwards. (The Harris Bothers) and I loved Sloan in all the other books, including the first of this duet. but Sloan keeps getting on my dang nerves big time more than Freya even. I loved Freya but my gosh her hatred of herself was over the top. I've struggled with my weight my whole life and her character was a bit I sulting. like if we're big we're always think we're awful and not worth anything. But regardless enough cannot be said about all the narrations and all the series and all the spin-off. I'm not sure I would like the books as much if I just read them. But I have bought all of the audiobooks. and this is the last one that I know of. I hope maybe someday Vaughn can get one?

Footy Perfection

Firstly, the narration is stellar. Will Watt is so natural and shifts accents so easily you just find yourself “there” in the story. Of all the books in the series, I feel he really brought something special to Garett’s character.

If you are a lover of football (aka soccer) you will enjoy this series immensely. Amy Daws truly understands the game and it is so fun to hear the “Beautiful Game” woven throughout the story. Now we just need our own stadium chant, LOL.

This book in particular will cause you to reflect on your own family, recovering from trauma and tragedy, and give hope that no matter what, a HEA is possible in our own individual healing.

Joe Arden made a comment that he was tired of romance novels being “slut shamed“. Romance novels are just fiction after all, and what matters is the story. Is it a good story? This whole series, and this book in particular are just great stories that do what great fiction does. Makes you laugh, makes you cry, makes you think.

I am sure that the whole cast of characters in the books would cheer “Well done” to Amy and the narrators of this wonderful series.

yes lord!

Well we finally got his story and it did not disappoint. Sloan is terrific and I love how the father finally comes around and addresses his misery. The entire story line was terrible, but this book had me actually crying which I never do in books I read so ... bravo.
