Loved this book especially the Narrators impressions of the characters were perfect. cant wait for more from this author and looking up the Narrators.

I kind of wishes the villain won in the 2nd story

So I loved every minute of these stories but really all three guys have giant dicks? Um, okay. Lls. I'm a Villians girl and I kind of wanted Niko to get the footage of the two of them but of course plot. Both narrators are EXCELLENT!! I haven't read the third story yet but so far the only one that sounds ridiculous a little is the second one where the girl is beaten badly and clearly should have a concussion has hardcore sex with Grey... Lls. Okay. But yeah I'm enjoying these.

Varying degrees of good

Book One was much bette than Book 2…. I didn’t like the second one at all. Just pretty dumb. I haven’t listened to the third one yet. I might or might not bother.

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narrator was great.

POV for all three books

I will preface by saying I do NOT mind a book having explicit sexual scenes, illicit sex or bondage etc. if the characters are well developed then bring it all on. With this said, my take on the three books below:

Book 1

Didn’t make sense

This book is about 2 kidnapped people held in a hotel by the mafia to pay their debts to the mafia.

Dillion worked for them but Rose was innocent… what I don’t understand (and had to triple check if the author was a man and just didn’t get women) is why was Rose “a virgin?” I would understand if she’s messed around before but hasn’t had penetrative sex OR she was older than 19. The language Dillon uses and the things they do isn’t indicative of someone who hasn’t even “kissed a boy before” none of it made sense… she didn’t have to be a “virgin” it could have been that she hasn’t had sex in a long time… anything… this didn’t make sense and it’s fake as hell… I’m all for illicit steamy and even dark romance novels BUT there’s gotta be some realistic situations…I would understand all of this IF the characters were shapeshifters or vampire etc.

This book could have been better…


Book 2

OMG all the “growling” Grey seems to growl at every single thing….! I felt like the writer could find another word (now I can go a few weeks without hearing growl or grown and it will still be too soon.)

This actually had promise compared to the first one but I was rolling my eyes so hard by chapter 5 “He growls and kiss me” every two seconds 🙄 and he groans… 🙄🙄 Grey never seems to talk other than growling or groaning… using words like “I’m never going to be done with you” day 2? Who does that?

Zoe, this character was interesting… a little off and seems to live the “Cam girl” life. She never discuss safe sex. They live in Vegas and she lets a guy she doesn’t know get into her without a condom? At least talk about it? Hmmmmm
She’s so so stupid. She couldn’t call Grey to ask? Knowing she “owes” Joey? Almost comical… like she lives for this drama 🙄 almost wished he just took her… I was over it after the stupidity of both of them…

Some scenes seem off like they forgot… she says he’s in boxers at the end of the bed he’s still dressed and she’s in the middle… which is which? A few scenes were off like that…the anal scene had no prep… almost all the sex scenes had holes…

Zoe’s narrator could not do male voices and I did not like her for this part… after chapter 6 …just sounded like a porn girl (maybe that was the idea?) there’s a difference between hot and cheap porn. The sex came off pornoish and I’m not really a fan.since they didn’t have any semblance of normal conversation… where did they come from? No character development whatsoever just a glance in their past.

Book 3

Again with the holes in the story… I’m beginning to think the author wasn’t even trying and the editor even more so 🙄 for instance, she wore a wig, he tugs at her hair or pulls in the midst of a dirty alleyway sex and the wig doesn’t come off? Hmmm

Quinn was decent and this is competing to the girls in the series. I liked that there was none of the usual forced angst over stupid reasons… things just went smoothly as smooth as their situation allowed I’ll say.

I just did not like the pornlike voices she used…seriously, other books have the same amount of sex and have even more taboo but still not porny…

So, in all the three books, the last one was most decent I suppose… but also because it ties everything together nicely.

These books read like porn trying to add stories… all three men were almost the same when having sex… they all said the same exact things but with different girls 🙄 especially Grey and ugh forgot the name of the guy in the last book 😬

As usual, Jacob Morgan saves the day!
