Publisher's summary

I can kill a man with a kiss.

"You're everything I ever wanted," he says. He leans in and kisses me. At last. I slip my hands away, letting my fingertips brush across his cheek. He takes his final bow over the railing and drops 15 floors toward the Fifth Avenue pavement. Pity.

Very odd but good story to listen to

Only thing that got me refreshed in my memory is the term "succubus" but other than that, the story was good to listen to but I found it somewhat strange while I was listening and getting to the conclusion of the story.

Ugh

What would have made Diary of a Succubus better?

Me not listening to it in the first place. I stopped trying after awhile. Ugh

What could James Patterson and Derek Nikitas have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

It was very difficult for me to get into it. The narration was odd and not seductive or sexy. Ugh

Would you be willing to try another one of Bailey Carr’s performances?

Absolutely not. Extremely over dramatic sometimes by raising the volume of her voice. Inappropriate intonation. Sounded like the 1950s westerns when Indians spoke sentences without adverbs or halted English. She even deepened her voice when reading for an ethnic character. Laughable and insulting. Embarrassing! She is not able to convey emotion with her voice. Worse than a kindergarten teacher reading poetry to a group of 5 year olds who have no idea of what is being read to them. I felt like one of the 5 year olds. Ugh

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Not sure...I did not listen to it long enough. Hope I can get a refund.

Any additional comments?

The worst!

This is the worst Patterson book ever, unless you’re a teenager that likes vampires. The summary gives no clue of the plot.
