In this groundbreaking exclusive, Andy Webb, the writer and award-winning filmmaker who first obtained the secret files that broke the story of Princess Diana's betrayal by journalist Martin Bashir, reveals the true extent of the deception the Princess experienced before giving her iconic 1995 Panorama TV interview.

Dianarama reveals how key players at the BBC then devised an elaborate cover-up to hide what happened, whilst leaving Diana to her fate. Andy Webb's unrivaled insider access to the key players in the drama ensures a thrilling first-hand narrative, putting the listener inside the room where each key decision was taken.

The action spans more than 30 years, switching from the moment BBC reporter Martin Bashir first contrived his dossier of forged bank statements in 1995 to the 2024 courtroom where Webb faced the BBC's elite legal squad to demand the publication of 10,000 pages of highly contested documents relating to the scandal.

A story for the ages, the fate of Princess Diana and the events leading up to her tragic death and its impact will be debated by scholars and gossips centuries from now. Dianarama will be a key part in the first draft of history.

A real page turner ( but no cheap sensationalism ). The second half of the book was impossible to switch off! Why is Bashir living out his retirement in his big house in Hampshire, and the BBC execs involved doing their various "things", while Diana is dead and her family continues to grieve. Something not right here! I have a feeling it ain't over yet! Well done Andy Webb!

Thrilling ... and maddening!

Book went on too long repeating the same facts and ended up being boring and tedious.

The lies of the BBC

The book is interesting. I think Ward wrote a good story. I think he did a good job narrating his own work. On BBC corruption - I'm not surprised. The BBC is controlled by elitists who will protect themselves even at taxpayer expense. I highly doubt Bashir was that charismatic, charming, whatever. I do think he used ethnicity to gain an advantage (esp in that he claimed at one point they were going after him due to skin color - liars come in all shades). While it is discussed in the book, and still makes no sense to me, it is this. Why didn't Charles Spencer either report the alleged financial records or have an independent private investigator check Bashir's claims? Why didn't Diana? Both Charles Spencer and Diana had years of experience dealing with the media. That they "trusted" Bashir at all seems questionable to me.

A fascinating account of Andy Webb’s dogged determination to expose Martin Bashir’s deception of Diana and the BBC’s large scale cover up. It uncovers how Bashir destroyed Diana’s trust in her inner circle, leaving her paranoid and unprotected in the last two years of her life.

Fascinating Context for the infamous interview.

Andy Webb and Andrew Lownie (ENTITLED) struggled mightily to reveal incalculable evil acts committed over decades by a legion of malfeasors, two lone men against menacing power. The work of Webb and Lownie goes on. The malfeasors remain unconsequenced for their demonic and deliberate atrocities against Diana, her sons and the British People. The breath goes out of those who read these two books for the fiendish crimes that victimized Diana and her children.

HEARTBREAKING-HEROIC
