Turned out she had a price on her head. Her stepbrother wanted her and he wanted her alive. I'd never been one to pass up an opportunity to collect the kind of money he was offering, especially if I could have some fun while I was at it.

It just never occurred to me she'd be anything more than my next mark.

engaging story

This one held my interest from start to finish. I was getting a bit out of my comfort zone and it's still not something I'll read often but it was well written and engaging and the narrator did a really good job putting life and emotion into each character. There is a lot of sex in this book so if that's not your thing then this isn't the book for you. I usually don't care for books with this much sex because it usually takes away from.the story and it ends up just sounding like a porno. I enjoy books where theres more story than sex and I think the author did a good job balancing the two. I like feeling the chemistry and connection between the characters and I feel she did a good job with achieving that. There was also great character development here especially with julian's character. Hes a bit of a jerk at first and is this big bad guy who kills people for a living and planned on killing Mia until he came face to face with her and realized he couldn't. Their relationship wasn't your norm but it seemed to work for both of them and they ended up being just what ecahother needed. There wasn't much romance being shown until the end of the book and I loved seeing seeing Julian's walls and barriers coming down once Mia breaks them down and his love for her bring out the soft side of him you didn't even know existed.

Steamy

I truly enjoyed this book. It’s fast pace and a steamy romance! I enjoyed the plot and how each character overcome their own struggles.

Wish There Was a Sequel

first read by Ms. Knight and i really enjoyed it. i liked Julian and Mia. they fit well together. they both had just enough drama in their past to equal each other out. plus they both liked the hard sex. it was just enough, without being to ruff for me.
there was enough action and romance and i felt how it ended was just right. great development of each character. i wish there was just a bit more in the epilogue =D
can't wait for the next. if u like great character development with some naughty sex scenes, this is a great read for you.

Loved

The more books I read or listen to by Natasha, the more I love her writing. Dark, intense, angst, steamy, attention grabbing good. Philip Alces did an amazing job narrating.

Dark and Dangerous

This is dark, dangerous and mysterious all in one. I liked how people have their own enjoyable kind of darkness. The sex scenes were fun to listen to.
