He has been waiting since he was 18 years old and that hundred year mark approached. Avyla , a Human ,upon first glance seems very meek and definitely quiet . However the core of steel often displayed gives the listener a greater respect for deeper character of Avyla . The lack of love experienced by her during her lifetime leaves her in doubt of what Jaspyr’s Dragon is offering ...love ! A commoner and a High Dragon ...It just doesn’t make any sense. Yet ,as Avyla uncertainty wavers , Jaspyr must deliver justice to the insane of his kind that love forgot . Forever reminding him of the Sands of Time. .......Love or Insanity . This was an awesome listen and definitely will not be my last of this dynamic duo . Amazing listen all the way round 😊🌸

Phenomenal Narration

Destined for the Dragon, the third book in the Ballads of Cadarnle series is an entertaining and enjoyable, dragon-shifter romance. The storyline is intriguing about a dragon-shifter who is searching for his true mate. The main characters, Jaspyr and Avyla, are charming and engaging with a sizzling connection.

Curt Bonnem does a phenomenal job with the narration, immersing the listener further into the story. His inflections are precise, knowing when and how to change his tone. He is a very talented narrator, and I just loved his performance.

Dragons

What can I say. Dragons finding their intended mate. Dwarf finding his 2nd love. Dragon going crazy. Raccoon pet. Lots to love. Action and love mingled together.

🎧 Audio obsession

Good dragon romance

Sweet romance with some spice. A little slow, but entertaining. Focus is mainly on the romance. Loved the dragon shifter aspect. I listened to the audio version on Audible. Narrator did good; he’s a little formal, but a clear performance. The story feels medieval, so I suppose the narration works. The story and characters are a bit old-fashion.

Jaspyr really wants to find a mate; he’s been searching for years. If his kind doesn’t find a mate before they turn 100, they begin to go mad and become very dangerous. Luckily, Avyla stumbles upon his treasure trove. Unfortunately, she’s a bit hesitant to the idea of being a dragon’s mate and there’s a dragon nearing his 100th year, so danger is afoot.

Loved that both dragon and mate need to be virgins; it’s nice that it’s not just the females. Avyla and Jaspyr are cute together. Enjoyed Avyla’s work as an apothecary and the magical aspects to the story. I didn’t read the previous books, but I don’t think it’s needed. I followed along just fine.

Overall, an enjoyable dragon romance.

I haven't read the previews book nor listened to them but it is a standalone and i was able to follow the story.
Magic and dragons,raccons and love all bundled into one book.
I enjoyed the story though at times i had troubles with the heavy accent the narrator had which made it a bit difficult for me to follow .
Still i really enjoyed it.

BOOK 3

This audio book was a very good Shifter love story. In the mist of Dragon clan problems a strong bond is formed. A love so strong that no one can brake I totally enjoyed listening.

Jasper and Avyla

I love dragon shifter romance books and this one was pretty good even if a little slow at times. Jasper meets Avyla and he knew she was his fated mate.

I didn't realize until after getting the book that it was in the middle of the series (I usually have to start at the beginning) but I listened anyway and loved it!

Destined for the Dragon was awesome and I can't wait to go back and get the first 2 books now! The story was awesome and the narration was on point!!

Thank you for the audio, I voluntarily give this an honest review. Curt Bonnem did a fantastic job Narrating this book. this was a great book with many different types of creatures. Jaspyr is now the high dragon after the death of his father. Mistaking Avyla for a third was not the way he invissioned meeting his mate. can he convinced her of the mistake he made? can she trust him? this was a great listen and so full of adventurous twists.
