He has been waiting since he was 18 years old and that hundred year mark approached. Avyla , a Human ,upon first glance seems very meek and definitely quiet . However the core of steel often displayed gives the listener a greater respect for deeper character of Avyla . The lack of love experienced by her during her lifetime leaves her in doubt of what Jaspyr’s Dragon is offering ...love ! A commoner and a High Dragon ...It just doesn’t make any sense. Yet ,as Avyla uncertainty wavers , Jaspyr must deliver justice to the insane of his kind that love forgot . Forever reminding him of the Sands of Time. .......Love or Insanity . This was an awesome listen and definitely will not be my last of this dynamic duo . Amazing listen all the way round 😊🌸

Phenomenal Narration
Destined for the Dragon, the third book in the Ballads of Cadarnle series is an entertaining and enjoyable, dragon-shifter romance. The storyline is intriguing about a dragon-shifter who is searching for his true mate. The main characters, Jaspyr and Avyla, are charming and engaging with a sizzling connection.
Curt Bonnem does a phenomenal job with the narration, immersing the listener further into the story. His inflections are precise, knowing when and how to change his tone. He is a very talented narrator, and I just loved his performance.
I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Thank you for the audio, I voluntarily give this an honest review. Curt Bonnem did a fantastic job Narrating this book. this was a great book with many different types of creatures. Jaspyr is now the high dragon after the death of his father. Mistaking Avyla for a third was not the way he invissioned meeting his mate. can he convinced her of the mistake he made? can she trust him? this was a great listen and so full of adventurous twists.

made me a fan of dragon shifter books
I'll be honest, I never really have given a dragon shift book a read. One just never peaked my interest. I am so glad that I gave this book a chance. I really enjoyed this story. Jaspyr is a dragon shifter and he has to find his mate. He finds her in Avyla. At first he thinks she is trespasser after his treasure but soon sees her true nature. Now he has to figure out how to show her that he isn't the scary dragon she thinks he is. Watching these two fall in love was so sweet. I love that even though Jaspyr is a scary dragon to those he doesn't know him, we saw the real side of him. Anyone could relate. I loved Avyla's sweet nature. They are a perfect pair. My favorite character, though, was Avyla pet raccoon Baxter. He cracked me up! I will definitely give more dragon shifter books a chance after this one. This narrator also did a great job with the different characters. I never once thought about how it was one person doing all the voices. A must read/listen.

Intense action
A J Ryder has written a book filled with action, dragon shifters, magical creatures, intense love, and even a raccoon. Jaspyr know that Avyla is his fated mate but she has her doubts. The author guides the listener on her journey of self discovery of her love for Jaspyr and the special powers she possesses. This book is filled with love. Curt Bonnem is an amazing storyteller. He makes the listener a part of the story. His deep commanding voice is perfect for Jaspyr. I received this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. I highly recommend this Audible book.

I love dragon shifter romance books and this one was pretty good even if a little slow at times. Jasper meets Avyla and he knew she was his fated mate.

I didn't realize until after getting the book that it was in the middle of the series (I usually have to start at the beginning) but I listened anyway and loved it!
Destined for the Dragon was awesome and I can't wait to go back and get the first 2 books now! The story was awesome and the narration was on point!!
