Yessss! Finally the last book in this excellent series, and answers to many questions...and the ending will leave you speechless!
If you’ve followed the series, you know that Birmingham Police Deputy, Jess Harris, has been hunting serial killer, Eric Spears, aka The Player, since her time as an FBI profiler. Throughout the series, he has played a deadly game with Jess, one that she seems to be losing. Now Spears seems to be targeting Jess’s fiancé, suspended Police Chief, Dan Burnett through his ex wives...one has been murdered and Dan is the only person of interest...one has gone missing from her mental care facility. Can Jess and the team outsmart this genius killer? Where does Jess’s nosy neighbor fit into all of this? As mentioned before, the ending will leave you speechless...and maybe a bit grossed out...no spoilers...you’ll have to read/listen to find out!
Narrator did a great job with all of the characters and keeps you ‘in’ the story! Sad that this is the end!

Awesome series!

This is BY FAR the best series I’ve listened to in a long time, maybe ever! I listened to all ten books in ten days! The characters were well rounded and kept you engaged. I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next!
Do yourself a favor and listen to this series, you won’t be sorry!
The ONLY thing I would say is they should NEVER change narrators half way through a series. I didn’t like the 2nd narrator. Probably nothing to do with HER per say, I was used to the voices of the first one and I find it very distracting. Hint hint audible!

Great story…(but)…

I love the story, but not a fan of the change in narrator. Please go back to Carol Schneider.

You never know why spears targeted her

I read all 10 at first they were very exciting to where I kept buying more but then when I got to the 10th one I realize that too many things were added in that didn’t even involve spears and then the end you never know anything about why he did what he did or anything about him so I was kind of disappointed
