A lot of action
I loved this. Anastasia may be missing a few things and she's not a glamour girl, but she keep everyone (sometimes herself too) guessing what she's going to do and how she's going to do it.

Just a tool for a bunch of Tools
Poor Anastasia, she just can't get the creeps to leave her alone! Her power draws them like deerflies. They want to use her, but they are blinkered by their contempt for humanity. Her humanness gives her passion and protectiveness, and the crucible of her past gives her the strength to whale on them. Intermittently, at least. They know more and control their power better than she does, but she learns, and she uses what she has that they do not: wit and tactics and the grit to fight even against long odds.
I LOVE this woman!
What a calm narrator! She kept me from shadowboxing the walls when I got too excited to stand the suspense. My estimable spouse is grateful that he is spared the chores of spackling and painting.

Demon Bound: The Battle for Anastasia Aaronson by Steve Higgs is Book 5 in The Realm of False Gods series. This is a well written, fast paced, action packed, page turning adventure with great world building, an interesting storyline, and well developed characters. Anastasia Aaronson (MFC) was a British Officer who lost a leg, a hand, memory, and has a piece of shrapnel lodged in her brain during UN Peacekeeping activities. She has discovered she now has powers and can see angels and demons. Both the angels and demons what to get hold of her so they can use her powers. Will Anastasia be able to stay alive and neutral? Ayla Stevenson, narrator, brought the story to live. Her voice was calm and made for easy listening. Received an audiobook ARC and this is my voluntary review.

be careful when ordering realm of false guys Audible has them numbered incorrectly the box set actually includes books one two and four the books are labeled incorrectly Audible has book 4 which is actually book five book five is actually book 6 what they have as book 6 is actually book four
