Year 2!

I loved this book! Things got crazy for Mel at the very beginning. Hades has chosen her to study under him. There is something that is going to go down. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Fire!

Nice action fantasy! What would it be like to be taught by a god! Could be fun could be heart breaking! Narrator was awesome!

Gets crazier and crazier!!

Demigods Academy: Year 2 by Elisa S. Amore and Kiera Legend and narrated by Stephen Dexter and Vanessa Moyen was a must get after Year 1.
Meet Melanie, our FMC, who has been whisked off to Hades Hall, below the academy, in the Underworld. Her boyfriend Lucien tries to get her out of there, with a few of her friends but typical Hades, blocks them from seeing her. Meanwhile, Melanie is training with the 3 Furies, befriending Cerberus, and using the abilities that got her through the trials to try and get back to her friends, only to find out that she has changed more than she thought.
Hades has his own plans for Melanie, which almost gets her killed.
Zeus decides to help out the mortal realm by sending some of his best students to help battle an out of control fire, that ends up in yet another heavy duty cliffhanger.
Would I be willing to listen to this book again? YES many times over
Would I be willing to recommend this book to others? YES
I feel that anyone over 13 should be able to handle everything in it and even learn something new as each God/Demigod/Hero is accurate to many reports I have written concerning the Greek Mythology as it pertains to said people.

Year 2!

Demigods Academy, book 2 starts off as year two of the academy is starting. Shortly after arriving Melany is carted off to Hades world. Away from
her friends. The hall of Hades and Hades world seems very interesting. What we get to envision it seems like a incredible place and I would love to discover more of this world!! Thought the book we would hear from both Mel and Lucian. It is interesting to see what happens next. I’ve learned in this book that not all Gods are what they seem to be. Trust none of them.
I listened to the audiobook and it was fantastic. There were two narrators and I thought they did a fabulous job portraying the characters. Can’t wait for year/book 3!!

These to authors and these two narrators are just fantabulous. I cant get enough of each of them. Year Two was amazing and I cant wait to listen to the third year

Excellent story

Excellent continuation of the series, I’m enjoying the series. The story is full of action, never a dull moment. Can’t wait to see what happens next!!

Good

For me book 2 felt a little like it was missing something, not sure if it needed a better focal point or if it was something else. Overall I really enjoyed the story and plan to listen to book 3 and you can sense the struggle in the Mel. Very well written and narrated.

Good second entry

I received an audio version of this book for review; all opinions are my own.
I enjoyed this second foray into Demigods Academy. I enjoyed Melany's claiming and how t
the authors remind us that Hades isn't the "devil" we all associate him with, I loved seeing Melany grow into her own and become strong and fierce.
On the flip side, I hated her boyfriend's sections. The narration is all wrong; he sounds way too old for Melany and their school. Plus his "save the damsel in distress" is old hat and I was so glad when she was amazing without him.
I'm ready for the next book and to see what happens to Melany next.

Dark but good.

I enjoyed book 2 but it was dark. It was still worth the listening. There were laughs and tears, it had a good balance.

Team Hades!

The narrators did a great job. I really enjoyed listening to them. They did great doing each of the different characters, both male and female. It really added to the story.

With the way the first book ended I was not sure what tik expect. I was not disappointed. One of my favorite parts are when she is training with the Furies. The whole mock war made me annoyed with the other characters. That they judged her so harshly. But it makes complete sense.

I really liked how Hades was portrayed. That dark doesn't mean evil. But also that light does not equal good. The way the gods act and how jealous they are is totally what I always read in all the mythology.

Definitely enjoying this series!
