From the prologue to the epilogue I was hooked.

These two! First and foremost I adore this family. They have all the found family vibes with a big dash of ride or die. I love how unconventional they are and how dedicated they are to each other. The way they rally around those they love is heartwarming. Everyone one is so different in personalities and lifestyles and I am so excited for the rest of this series.

Now onto Thea and Shep. The glimpse we got of Thea in Fragile Sanctuary I knew her story would be good. Shes on the run and healing as best she can from her traumatic past. My heart broke for her. I can’t even imagine experiencing what she did and still managing to come out on top.

Shep is the best brother and friend. His determination to helping and solving problems is admirable. His heart is still healing from the events of Fragile Sanctuary feeling guilty and his poor heart had me rooting for him.

I loved their relationship. I love that he was patient and didn’t push. The support once he found out what was happening was unparalleled. Their chemistry was on fire.

I didn’t see the end coming. I was convinced about another character and the shock I felt! It was perfect.

Loly and her shenanigans was the cherry on top of an amazing book. I can’t wait to see what kind of trouble she drums up as the series progresses.

This is a standalone and can be read without reading anything else but I highly recommend just diving fully into this series. You won’t regret it.

If you’re an audio listener this audiobook really brought the story to life and I can’t recommend it more.

Moose stole the show!

Shep had so many more layers than I could have ever imagined. Thea was the perfect broken spirit reclaiming her power. These two together were magic!

I inhaled this book and was tickled pink at how things came together in the end. Shep and Thea plus all of their family and friends are an amazing combo. Don't get me started on grandma Lolly lol.

I can't wait until book 3 - I do believe Cope and Sutton are going to have a wild story!

Oh Catherine this was such a beautiful story! And as always didn’t see that coming. Can’t wait for the next book in this series. Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton were perfect as Thea and Shep!

I love this story. I especially love the twist and turn. I love how Brandon got punished at the end.

Delicate Escape

Delicate Escape is the second book in the Sparrow Falls series. This book is about Shepard and Thea and is told from both of their points of view.

Shepard and Thea have both been through something. Shepard was abandoned as a baby and is now a fixer for anything that happens to those he cares about. Thea was harmed in her past by an ex and doesn't trust easily now.

Shepard keeps showing up for Thea and she starts to let her walls down. When Shepard needs somewhere to stay, Thea asks him to move in with her. Living in close quarters makes feelings develop.

What happens when Thea's past comes back to haunt her? Can Shepard get past what happened to him as a baby? Can Thea learn to let Shepard in? Will they both get their happy ending? I loved every minute of this book, and can not wait to see what happens next in this series!
