i want more!

loved this book, it went by too quickly. i want more scenes i want more development. yes, i know there is a sequel, but i wanted more before the conclusion of this story arc. it was very good

I loved all the twists and turns in this story of outlaws, sickness, court intrigue, and rebellions!

Excellent narration and nail-biting action make this a must listen!

Ik im soooooo late to this book but omg? It was so good? I liked this book so much I tabbed it.

I wanted to cry. This book was so well done from start to finish. Tessa the main character was soft but strong. She had such a caring heart for the people. The way I fell in love with corricks character was so unexpected. I felt so bad for him and everything he had to do. I’m sooo glad I read this book.

So much more than expected.

Amazing story that held my attention and ignited many emotions. The characters were beautiful and flawed, relatable and empathetic. Already looking into more stories from Brigid Kemmerer.

Fantastic book

I loved this book. It's an easy read with a great story line and fantastic narrators. its not all encompassing world building and epic battles but its so worth it.. I don't leave a lot of all around 5 star reviews but I thoroughly enjoyed this.

So unexpected

I didn’t read any reviews or synopsis, I just dove in and I’m so glad I did. The performance was subpar and the characters were beautifully written. I’m looking forward to the next book and hopefully the same great performers.
