A book to listen to and wonder

For some reason I thought this book was an autobiography of Bob's life. There are large amounts of biographical accounts throughout, but I doubt that a man with the conviction and courage such as Brown possesses would have wanted to do an outright biography.

As the title suggests, the crucial message for the book is to alert us to the terrible state of environmental disaster that the planet is undergoing and a call to action to prevent its acceleration.

It is not however a trudge through political activism or a manifesto of how we should be taking up the cause of the Greens and living the life of an activist - although it is clear that we need to address the serious acceleration of our environmental problems.

Bob is an Australian icon, and we miss him from politics. His authenticity, passion and wisdom is missed.
