Another Ali banger

Oh the way I fell in love with Lukas right at the start 🫣 I need some time to let this story marinade but wow, easily going to be a top book from me this year!! Really enjoyed the full length story opposed to the shorter books we usually get from Ali.

Plus excellent casting for the voices!!

There is not book that Ali has written that I don’t like! But this one is my number one! Dare I say it’s her best work yet 🤭!!

Didn’t want to stop

Really enjoyed this, didn’t realize it was brand new release! Formula is just like Ice Breaker which I loved while not expecting it. Lovedddd this read so much read it all in probably 24hrs during work and then couldn’t stop at home hahaha

Ali's best so far

[Non native speaker here]: liked the angst, the diving stuff, the therapy part and both main characters.. The spicy scenes became too repetitive and too graphic though. Therese's performance as Scarlett was amazing as usually. The male narrator was great too. What I didn't like was the editing. I may be wrong, but it sounded like both narrators did their work separately and it was put together only later. It was simply "staccato" to me with unnatural pauses during Scarlett's and Lucas' conversations.

This book, like most of her books had me hooked! I love the journey that led to HEA. I am going to read it now!

Almost

I loved this book. I couldn’t put it down. It had such five star potential but several things about the MC’s put me off so four it is. Likable characters, side characters are developed well enough that it has me wondering if this will be a series, and the overall plot just WORKS!

My new favorite Ali Hazelwood

I am a huge Hazelwood stan, so it's a big deal when I say THIS IS HER BEST BOOK YET! I loved the female friendships, the clear communication, the humor, the spice (oh Lordy the spice), the nod to previous Steminists, the narration, all of it! Honestly my only complaint is that I don't particularly love the cover, but you better believe I'm still buying a physical copy for my shelf.

Great book, took a minute to get used to the narrator- little slow in the beginning. i was unable to stop after chapter 25 and beyond.

Totally Consuming in the Best Way

This helped my get out of a book hangover. I finally found a book that fully engaged me. Fun read with interesting charters and premise. Plenty of spice with just the right touch of kink. I was worried it would be too much but she navigates it really well.

Scarlett and Luka love their connection, love the whole story and I do Like a LOT Luka’s voice!!!
