The new author is to be commanded. Excellent continuation to this series. Keep up the good work.

Hamish has become a new man

You can definitely tell that there is a new person helping write these books. I’m not saying that it’s either good or bad, but Hamish has grown a backbone. There is also more action in this book which I am not a big fan of, but it wasn’t grotesque so it was fine.

Great narration

Great narration for this book and it helps give clarity to the plot. The characters are very different from each other.

I was so excited for the next book in this series…

I love this series! However- this one did not appeal to me nearly as much as the others. There were so many storylines that as an audible book it was hard to keep track of it all. Also- the love story between Robin and Strike was not handled well in my humble opinion. The best character development was with Pat who added much needed wisdom and levity. Overall- I did not finish this story with a sense of satisfaction.

Delightful

It's impossible to hear enough of Hamish Macbeth’s story. We miss Ms. Beaton, but Hamish is in capable hands.

Most exciting Hamish Macbeth book! (Read in order)

The story was great! Intriguing and exciting. I don't know if Graeme Malcolm's voice is changing, but it seemed lower and gruffer many times during the narration. That made it hard sometimes to understand whether it was Hamish or someone else speaking. Even so, it was very enjoyable. Makes me wish I lived in Lochdubh, except for all the murders!

The story continues

I am grateful that the antics of Loch Dubh continue. I love all the characters. I’ve read/listened to the entire series more than once. And RW Green has done a fine job of carrying on the tales of Hamish.
