Perfect for fans of Harry Potter

I will admit, I wasn't sure ehat to expect from this series. I figured it would be just another magic kids at a magic school where teenage drama and magic mayhem ensues but I was actually pleasantly surprised at the depths of character and story mixed between past and present recounting which moved the story along without being bogged down in every detail.
