Publisher's Summary

A retired assassin can't find love, until he meets his match.

Almost dying puts some things in perspective for Reaper. For one, he is getting too old to be dodging bullets. And secondly, who will mourn him when he is gone? Maybe it's time to think about settling down. Problem is, exactly where does a retired assassin meet the right kind of lady?

Charming Reaper Montgomery - the first - turns to a dating service to solve his problem and finds himself intrigued by the owner, especially when his first date with her ends with bullets flying. Between her secret past and his killer resume, they'll make a deadly match.

A stand alone novel with a happily ever after.

Easy listen

This is a fun story about an assassin that is almost retired and basically realizes that he is all alone and goes to a matchmaker for help. All of the dates don’t work but there is instant chemistry with the matchmaker herself. With action and giggles along with some sizzle I’m looking forward to the next installment in this series.

Good Narration! Unique Characters! Surprising Twists! I really enjoyed this book. I keep chuckling over the Hero’s method of counting sheep!

More reaper please.

This is the 3rd book in the series but can also be a standalone. Charming is dealing with being shot and wanting to settle down. Let’s see what he does next.

I love "Annie" and Reaper

Firstly - I love the way Logan McAllister narrates. His voice keeps you locked in and in suspense, when you need it and just at the right tempo. Some might say it is slow, but I love his way. Reaper is just an alpha male. And almost dying on the job (being an assassin and all) made him realize - he wants someone to come home to. PS - what he was doing at his assignments place had me laughing - but also delayed him. He turns to a dating service and well things just don't work out the way he wants - the ladies just don't suit him. The Owner takes him into her own hands and does that turn into some interesting events. This man literally does not like the word no. He is all alpha male and once he sees you as his - nothing will stop him from protecting what is his. Annique is an independent lady. She had me in such stitches. She has a past that seems to haunt her and Reaper wants to help. He doesn't tell her that he is more than a Real Estate agent. She can't tell him why she is hiding. Then throw in her mystery sister at a ski resort - I think this made my whole week. I was laughing because they are a such stubborn but funny couple. Love it.

Wonderful Story

Love Bad Boy Inc books. Stories are so interesting and fun. I didn't care for this narrator as much as I have enjoyed the others. But love this story. Way to go Eve!

Love this Series!!!

Great book! I love this series. My only annoyances wete the narrator and the heroine. The narrator just didn't feel like the right fit for Reaper in my opinion (I imagined him more as a Sebastian York voice). The heroine just frustrated me at times. I think it might be because my age is similar to hers and she was weaker in some ways than I feel that she should be. I realized that she was attempting to keep herself safe, but sometimes you need to spill it and not continue to just ignore (or try to ignore) the issues. That is just me and my stubbornness talking though. Other than those things, I loved the story, I can't wait to hear the rest of the series!

Great book needs a different narrator

The book and story were awesome. The narrator though... I just had to force myself to listen to the narration. Gave up and went and bought the book. His voice is just not right for this. Maybe a western.

good book - narrator not so good

Good book, but needs a different narrator. This one's best impression of John Wayne is very distracting. Hearing a John Wayne type voice describing a sex scene is just too bizarre.

Dangerous and sexy

I loved the banter between Reaper and Annie. These are two stong characters, very evenly matched personality-wise. I liked that the story was action packed so, it was never dull. Witty Dangerous Surprising

Deadly Match

This laugh out loud book has some wild fun ideas, I have enjoyed every minute of this book. First time I've hurd Logan McAllister narrate he has a very low sexy voice which suited this story well. Great job.

Disappointed

I was really looking forward to this book after listening to the first two but I was very disappointed with the storyline. For me the story didn't get start till around the last seven chapters. Although this book is set as part of the Bad Boy Inc on Amazon, on audible it's classed as a stands alone book. Normally I love Eve Langlais books but not this one. Say that I'm really looking or to August when book four the Hitman Wedding cones out.
