This writer doesnt get caught up in sexy scenes filled with crap..at least not much.. and she doesnt use language that wilts flowers, often..and still manages to get a good book written. I respect that. This book is a good read for anybody not wanting anything to serious but needs something entertaining.

I bought this book b/c I wanted to read it before I saw the HBO series True Blood..As always the book is much better. The series is a little off from the book but it is still enjoyable. Sookie Stackhouse and Bill make a good couple. Again I was hooked from day 1.

I only bought this one because I watched the HBO series True Blood and loved it. I don't think it made a difference in how I feel about the book. I wouldn't have enjoyed it even if I hadn't watched True Blood. I don't plan to listen to any of the sequels. I just comes across a little juvenile.

I got this book first because I liked the twilight series (which this is nothing like) and 2nd because her 7th (i think) book in the series was on sale and had great reviews. After I changed my expectations I really enjoyed the book.
