Publisher's summary

It’s all fun and games until somebody loses an angel.

Dean Robinson, the Seventh Deacon of the Seventh Line, found God. Literally. He was sitting in the basement, reading a newspaper. It was awkward.

With a little help from the Big Guy, Dean and his wise cracking crew of supernatural sidekicks managed to snuff out Lucifer’s misguided angel mutiny before it unleashed a giant-sized can of whoop ass on mankind. Cool.

Then God decided to deport all the angels to Earth. Not cool.

With the world on the cusp of an angelic incursion, Dean, Doc Kelly, and the crew must race through time and space to find the only thing that can save the planet from literally falling apart at the seams.

Oh, that’s right. The planet is literally falling apart at the seams.

Total bummer.

Gilmore’s fourth book in the Heaven’s Dark Soldiers series brilliantly sets up the second trilogy with a delightfully fantastical storyline spanning all manner of interdimensional mischief and mayhem. With laugh-out-loud dialogue, unrelenting action, and an ever-evolving cast of unnatural characters, Dawn of the After Days will keep you listening with anticipation as you flip beer. Wait, what?

All about the narrator!

I read the first two books of this series and didn’t know if I could finish it. Good, but thought the writing was too simple and repetitive. Gave book 3 a shot with Audible version and now I’m flying through them. Jeremy Arthur is 100% to thank for this. I’’m probably close to 300 audio books and I’m not sure if I could name a Narrator that has done more unique and interesting voices for so many characters without any cringe factor ones tossed in. Once I’m done with this series I’ll be on to more book read by Jeremy for sure!

What’s going on here??

Great book. Never laughed so hard. “5 finger George fan for life” crazy is the game but story telling is the name.

Another good one in this series

I really enjoyed this book. It continued on incorporating cool events like Woodstock and characters of that time in one portion of the story. Looking forward to the next.
