Romance at its best.

I would like to meet this author and ask how she does it? How those she come up with this stories that are so funny, sexy and the love ever lasting. A campaign against Cupid leads Roxanne to find love, after cheating and unreliable men what’s a girl to do but go against the big guy himself?. Cupid. Well you could also fall in love with him.

Interesting take

While I enjoyed the story this probably wasn't my favorite to listen to. While Marie Smith does a good job narrating it just didn't draw me in.

I loved the concept of Gods and Demi-Gods in today's world and what happens when they fall in love - especially when they want just a regular mundane kind of life. It was fun listening to the interactions between Maverick AKA Cupid and his parents Aphrodite and Ares, and Roxanne with her mom Lady Luck. Both characters have had a rocky time in the love department and when they meet each other there is instant attraction but they have to learn to not only trust their feelings but also each other.

If you want something light with some humor this will fill the spot. It was a quick listen and easy to visualize the characters. Just expect it to be sizzling in parts (AKA every time Roxanne and Maverick are alone for more then 5 minutes).

A billion stars-five is just not enough

Oh my goddess. This is such a good read with perfect balance of funny, heat, romance, and a bit of intrigue that keeps you guessing. There was a twist I didn't see coming, that was just perfect. Although I choked while listening, there was a funny part that I wasn't prepared for and was in the process of chewing. I almost died cracking up. The witty banter is just to die for, I suggest not munching while reading. A few minutes and the heimlich later, ok it wasn't that bad, I set aside the snacks, just too risky for this book. For a book that is less than three hours long, I was surprised of the world building, and thoroughness of each character. Perfection. Grab your copy, not the snacks trust me you don't want to go out that way, and listen to this awesome read. The narration was spot on.

A Wonderful funny short story with that drama, passion, a little twist in our romances we love. Narrator did a awesome job pulling you in with her talent of different voices she does so well.
