As usual.. Eve Langlais provides a funny, engaging, paranormal romance that hits all the high spots.. Love it!!!

The Geek Job

The story line is good and I enjoyed the book. The sex and descriptions were crude and I had to fast forward to get back to the story line.

Short and fabulous

Absolutely loved this book. Having a weakness for brainy hotness myself I was happily entertained.

I wish it was longer but this story kept me interested from start to finish. I really enjoyed it!!

Story ok, narrator what the heck?

The narrator is so weird. Breathy, all sort of sounds like she’s trying to be sexy or... something. Uncomfortable. The story is ok but is definitely not one of Langlais’ best.

A geek + The Bodyguard = steamy romance

A funny, steamy, contemporary Romance with touches of the paranormal thrown in. The geek is on the verge of a revolutionary discovery. His employer hires a bodyguard to protect him and the discovery from being kidnapped. A female bodyguard is hired so she can be with him 24/7 and the geek just thinks that she is a fan of his science. The bodyguard never knew how exciting chemistry could be. It is an enjoyable story with interesting characters. I had never partaken of a romance involving a shifter before but it definitely adds a different twist. The narration was good as it helps you to feel what the characters are feeling.

Cute story but the narration was not for me. She reads it as though it's one long rhyme.

Fun PNR romance

what happens when you mix a sexy female body guard that just happens to be a werewolf and a shy geek searching for the cure to the sunlight issue that will unknowingly to help vampires. You wind up with lots of action and a definite geek turn alpha werewolf.

Quick, fun listen

This is a fun, light read that will pull you in immediately. I loved the story and the quirky characters. I don’t think it’s a start of a series, however, I would LOVE to hear more from and about these characters. This is the first book I’ve listened to by this author, I have already downloaded 2 of her other books and can’t wait to listen! I originally chose to listen to this book because of the narrator, Tracy Marks. Marks is one of my absolute favorite narrators and, as usual, her performance was outstanding!

Ok. Just ok.

This book was ok. Just ok. I read and listened at the same time. I'm sorry to say that I didn't like the narration. It sounded very robotic. It took away from the experience. It was better when I just read. But the story was also just ok. If you just want to read sex scenes this is the book. If you want an entertaining plot, move on.
