Publisher's Summary

Vivian and her daughter share a powerful telepathic connection, so when Ella can't be reached by conventional or psychic means, her mother fears the worst. Help arrives from an unexpected source when Vivian gets a call from the young doctor she met at a psychic convention. Turns out Julian belongs to a private organization specializing in retrieving missing girls.

As Julian's clan mobilizes its considerable resources to rescue the daughter, Magnus is charged with keeping the gorgeous young mother safe. Worry for Ella and the secrets Vivian and Magnus keep from each other should be enough to prevent the sparks of attraction from kindling a blaze of desire. Except, these pesky sparks have a mind of their own.

Thank You Charles Lawrence.

I am not in no way a critic. I will say that the writer knew what they were doing when they hired Charles Lawrence, this man is brilliant, he makes these books come to life I turn each page and hear a movie in the future. This is like Twilight, but so much better. The series never seems to end and I love it!

Cliff Hanger

Oh poor Ella. But a great cliff hanger. Magnus and Scarlett are exactly what Vivian and Parker need.

Intense

I love this writer and these series. but I was having palpitations throughout the book. I was so anxious for Ella's plight. I couldn't put down this book, or rather, I couldn't stop listening. I know all ends well in these trilogies, but I am still sitting on the edge of my seat per se.
Vivienne and Magnus relationship concurrently being developed as the drama unfolds. I am going to my next read. I can't wait!

I like your books.

I really enjoy your books though you leave us hanging at the end of each one. It leaves me waiting until I can get the next one.

Magnus meets his mate

I can't get past Charles Lawrence's inability to properly articulate the way women speak. He continues to mispronounce words/phrases like "ugh" using the g when it should be silent or menstruation/menstruate when the u isn't pronounced.

Intense! and you can’t stop until the end

Wow! This story takes a whole new direction. It’s exciting, intense and lots of drama and nail biting! In a good way of course! It’s one of those that you can’t put down- you MUST finish- yeah, that type. Ella is kidnapped and she is on her way to meet her buyer a billionaire . The immortals are trying to reduce her but each time they are a step behind. What’s more in the meantime a connection developing between Magnus and the mom.

Excellent story

Love the entire series but I have to say that I’m angry that Ella didn’t speak earlier to get mom so that her issue could have been resolved sooner. I just felt like the team would have rescued her earlier if she had. Aside from that the characters are great and love their interaction

Magnus and Vivian

This is a paranormal romance and is the twenty-third in the Children of the God series and the first in the Dark Widow’s trilogy. This is the story of Magnus and Vivian. She is a potential dormant that Julian found out at the Psychic Convention. When Julian tries to find an acting job for her daughter, Ella, he finds out she has been kidnapped by Human traffickers. Since his mother is leading up the Clan’s, the Guardians are brought in to try and rescue Ella. Magnus is tasked to protect Vivian and her son, but who is going to protect his heart from them? Another awesome story, more kudos to Ms. Lucas.
