Great story!

This was a really good story and I enjoyed listening to it! The characters are well developed (my pet peeve!) and interesting. The story world was interesting and believable. The reading flowed smoothly along and kept me engrossed in the story - the narrator was excellent! I definitely recommend this story!

Excellent story!

So now I will have to buy the next one in this series! This book was incredible! I had to listen intently or I feared I would miss something….. the characters are fantastic. The story is wonderfully written. The narration is great. I highly recommend this one!

Intriguing

I enjoyed this book very much. The story line moves quick enough to keep my interest, yet doesn’t rush. I hope to enjoy the next book in this series soon. I also enjoyed that even though many of the characters are gang members, pimps, prostitutes, druggies, etc. the language has been kept clean. I enjoyed the interactions between Kyra, Supra, Tonya, and Gabe. The author has done a remarkable job and I’m sure she had some laughs while writing these characters.

Captivating read

My sixth read from author L.K. Hill. The opening pages take off like a fighter from an aircraft carrier and just gets better from there! Three pseudonyms, 3 different genres. All good, but this book captivated me the most, in fact, I've already started the second book in the series! I’ll be reading more from this author no matter what pseudonym she writes under! Narrator Larry Oblander’s talented narration adds to the book's enjoyment. "I received a free Audible review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." L.K. Hill spins a great tail

Larry Oblander does a superb job reading. I didn’t realize this book is part of a series...but I enjoyed the storyline. Now I just need to find the rest of the series and listen to it!!!

Good Series Start

In Book 1 of this series Kyra goes undercover in a raging violent city looking for her brother who has gone missing, The story keeps you turning pages or listening to the end, but it ends with a cliff hanger, so you will have to get the next book on Kindle, It is not available on audio. The narrator does a fine job.....I received this audiobook for free in a promotional give away and this is my voluntary unbiased review.

Good action-packed read with cliffhanger ending.

Good action-packed read with a bit of a cliffhanger ending. Interesting characters and intriguing mysteries; when Kyra Roberts and Gabe Nichols paths collide on the dark streets of Abstreuse City, they find themselves in a fight not only for answers to these mysteries, but also for their lives. Great narration.

Fast paced

I recieved this as an audiobook free and my review is voluntary. This was Fast-moving and complicated plot with interesting, atypical characters. The writing was good and I'm eager to look at 2.

Love this book!

I am intrigued! What a great beginning to a series!

What would you do if your brother were missing? How far would you go to save him? In this book, you will meet a sister who has come face to face with this question. Her answer? All the way.

Well done Detective Mystery

I really liked the Main Character and her personality. She is one tough cookie and goes through a lot other people would give up and walk away from. Narrator did a wonderful job of bringing this story to life. I wish the next book was already available on Audible because I want to continue this story.
