Publisher's Summary

Nobody warned me these men are hot as sin.

It makes sense, I guess. They are the Seven Sins, after all.

And what’s a fallen angel doing hanging out with guys like this, you ask? Well…that’s a long story that starts with me breaking a teeny-tiny rule and ends with me getting kicked out of Heaven.

Oops.

But now I’ve got a chance to go back! There’s just one little catch: I’ll only be allowed to return to Heaven if I can bring the Seven Sins with me.

Yup. You heard that right. I have to redeem them. All of them.

It shouldn’t be so hard. I’ve got a plan of action all set.

Step 1: Stop thinking dirty thoughts about them.

Step 2: Recruit their help to close up the strange demonic portal that just opened in Manhattan.

Step 3: No, seriously, stop thinking dirty thoughts about them.

Uh, oh. This might not be as easy as I thought....

Note: Dark Kings is the first book in the Feathers and Fate series, a reverse harem paranormal romance featuring a feisty fallen angel and seven delicious, devilish men.

Good story, bad narrator

The story line is unique, and I like the characters. I guess that for the most part, the narrator was ok, but her mispronunciation of SO MANY words was driving me crazy.

Enjoyed the storyline but I did not enjoy the performance

I select audio book to listen on my commute in car or as I am cooking. I enjoyed the story. MC female cute. MC guys I like the way the 7 sins are being betrayed but the narration..nope nope nope. It felt like I had that robot reading to me. There was no real distinction between each of the men’s voices. At times lost track of who was talking. The female M, had no depth or emotion to her voice. I think I will read the next book and find another audiobook. If you’re looking for a good read I recommend but the Audible version nope.

Paranormal Reverse Harem

Dark Kings by Sadie Moss is a paranormal reverse harem romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Nya Simpson and Alton Woods. This is the first book in the Feathers and Fate series.

I absolutely love Sadie's books! She does a great job pulling me into the story and I can't help but binge them in one sitting. I am loving the relationship that's blooming between Trinity, Beckett, Remington, Phoenix, and Ford. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series Wicked Game.

Nya and Alton did a great job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you love paranormal romances, reverse harems, or romantic suspense.

Another amazing series!

This review is for the entire series - and it's yet another amazing series by Sadie Moss. This is why she continues to be a favorite of mine, everything she writes is gold! In this series, we have a fallen angel who is tasked with redeeming the seven sins, who just happen to be sexy as literal sin brothers. It's difficult to have a series with such a large harem because the men tend to blend together...but she's managed to make each brother unique. I loved the narrators, as well. You can tell which one of the seven men is speaking when it's the female narrator, and the male narrator oozes sexiness, while also making sure each man has a voice to match his unique personality.

Feral not Ferelle!

This story is ok. There isn't a lot of heat to it in spite of the premise, but it's ok. I find the way the Sins are personified a bit interesting.
Neither of the narrators have a great range. It's sometimes hard to understand who's talking. The one thing that really stands out and annoys me is when Nia Simpson mispronounces feral as ferelle.
It could be better, but it isn't bad.

Dark Kings

Sadie Moss really had me hooked from the first chapter of this series. It's an overall fun and lighter read without heaps of angst and I thoroughly enjoy how everything is set up in this book.

I look forward to more!

All ing's end with a hard G.

I struggled listening to this narrator. probably its my own personal preferences, but, ending "ing" words with a hard "g" just takes me out of the story. over annunciation of consonants just doesn't flow. I'm sorry. it just took me out of the story to much and I couldn't finish. if I could get a refund to buy the ebook and read it myself, I would.

Naive angel takes on the seven Sins!

Great book, I enjoyed the Sins, they're a handful and a whole new experience for the naive Trinity. I can't wait to meet more of the sins and see what trouble they get into next, I didn't enjoy the narration by Nya Simpson.

Sinfully good! Perfect Narration.

This was so, so great, I enjoyed it a lot, fast paced, good storyline, great chemistry between characters, funny and quirky.
I was glued to the book from beginning to end, Trinity is so good and a little bit naive but she knows nothing else and her personality is quite charming and I can't wait to see how she changes throughout the next books. Beckett (greed), Remington (gluttony), Phoenix (sloth) and Ford (wrath) where fantastic and I already love them, they're funny and charming in their own way and l love how they manage to annoy each other so easily.
Can't wait to start the second book, I am eager to know the other 3 brothers, it's going to be interesting...

Now for the narration; Nya Simpson and Bobby Gaglini performance was really good, I enjoyed both narrators so much, they brought the book to live so perfectly well.

Amazing start of series, slow burn RH

I loved Trinitys story. Absolutely unique, angel and the 7 sins story. I am left wondering what she really is to them, and how their story is going to progress.

Enjoyable, despite the narration.

Most of the chapters were Trinity’s point of view, narrated by Nya, and he others were divided between four of the sins and narrated by Bobby. It was kind of weird to have multiple viewpoints with the same voice, and then one different. I much preferred Bobby’s narration to Nya’s.

The story itself was pretty steamy, and had a solid plot holding it together.
