Publisher's summary

Larissa Hostetler is on the run after an arranged marriage to Silus, her abusive, immortal husband. As Silus hunts his disobedient wife, he plots her painful atonement. But Bishop King, the most powerful and eldest immortal in The Order, finds Larissa first, and he has plans of his own.

A deadly vampire is slaughtering mortal women in the woods, drawing unwanted attention from the media that threatens to expose their species. The Council is hard pressed to hunt and destroy the creature, but other upheaval is at play.

Immortals on the farm are keeping secrets. Vows will be broken and lives eternally changed as appetites for vengeance grow.

Nothing is as it seems when an immortal seeks revenge.

Holy wow!!! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

I received an audio copy of this book and I was even more blown away with Dark Exodus than I was with Original Sin!! First, the narrator did a wonderful job keeping me at the edge of my seat ... and away from my bed. I couldn't stop listening!! I'll warn you... it's 12 hrs long. But it's 12 hours of amazing story about Amish Vampires. Totally irresistible!!

The book continues on from the first book. But there is sooooo much more that happens in this book. You have to read or listen to understand. All I have to say is.... WOW!!!! absolutely fabulous job!! I totally give this book ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!

I recieved an ALC for my honest review.

A great continuation

Consider me wowed!! This is a great continuation of the Order of Vampires Series. As plots thicken there are more twists and storylines that keep you wondering. Lydia Michaels knows how to capture the reader’s attention and keep it there to the very end. The whole book was a roller coaster of intense and raw emotions, powerful drama and suspense made creditworthy by the narrator. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Great story but bad narration

I loved this story and was excited to see what became of Larissa after book one. However I didn't like the narrator's voices for the men at all.

Several storylines

What better place than an Amish farm for Immortals to stay out of the lime light.

This book has several storylines and it can get a bit confusing which POV we have.
I think the characters are interesting.

Amazing second book in the series!

This was a phenomenal, thrilling, action-packed read. We return back to the world of the Amish Vampires. At the end of Original Sin Larissa ran from her abusive, immortal vampire husband Silas. Now, the head of The Order, the oldest, most powerful vampire is tasked with finding her.

Lucinda Gainey’s narration brought this story to life and I was captivated from the first page. Being brought back to this unique world in the form of this audiobook was just what I needed. The book was intense, raw, emotional, dramatic, and had so much suspense. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

Amazing story!

This series is just so exceptional and unique. I really enjoyed listening to this book!!

This book starts right after the ending of book one and if you haven't read Original Sin then do that first. This story follows up the story of Larissa and Eleazar but also Larissa's family members facing different problems of their own specially her father Jonas and mother Abeline.

Larissa has run away from everything she ever knew, her parents and siblings, her Amish immortal community and most of all her awful abusive husband which is not her true mate but has made her life completely miserable.

Bishop Eleazar King has received his calling to his true mate Larissa. So he goes looking for her in a journey that will make him realise what is truly feel and care for someone.

The book is full of surprises and very heartbreaking moments. There is a lot going on in this series. I was at the edge of my sit the whole time. I love how the story can connect with different characters without being overwhelming or rush. Again we are left in a cliffhanger and can wait for what's to come next.

Excellent continuation

I had to relisten to book one since I listened to it two years ago. I thought I'd skip through it just to do a quick reminder, but I couldn't make myself do it. I had to listen to it all. It was just as good the second time and set up this next book perfectly.

DARK EXODUS picked up where ORIGINAL SIN left off. I continue to enjoy the originality of Amish Vampires. I became even more invested in the characters, loving how the author is building the story. My heart ached through parts of this as well as completely broke at one point. But I laughed a few times as well. We are left with more questions and a cliffhanger that made me yell, noooo! I look forward to the next book!

Lucinda Gainey is an excellent narrator. She voiced all the characters well with an emotional performance. This book rolled like a movie in my head.

Amish Vampires

AMISH ROMANCE, automatic NOO. BUUTTT, Amish Vampire Romance with ✨ SPICE ✨ YEESSSS. This was such a interesting series that again, leaves in a bit of a cliffhanger, Plot wise; the Couple in this book has a HEA. The series needs to be read in order.

Larissa has been on the run leaving the Amish because of her abusive husband in an arranged marriage the Amish/Council agreed to, we briefly met her in book one who is Adam’s sister and then we have The Bishop aka Eleazar who is part of The Council but also a 500 year old vampire.

The Bishop agrees to Larissa’s husband to search and find her, in which he does but when he does. There’s SHOCKING NEWS- that honestly I saw coming lmao but I was still shocked. I loved that it has different POVS that I’m actually apart of the world Lydia Micheals created.

This story keeps getting better!

Dark Exodus is book 2 in The Order of Vampires series. This paranormal read kept my attention until the end. I enjoyed the continuation of these characters. We get Larissa, and her abusive husband Silus but what we didn’t expect was for her to find her other soul in an unlikely ally. This book had the drama, interesting plot and steam. Narrator did another good job. Can’t wait for book 3!

Dark Exodus is even better than the first one! I w

Larissa Hostetler has left home and hiding from her Immortal Husband who is not worth his own breath. Bishop King, the most powerful and eldest immortal in The Order, has gotten his calling to his one true mate. This story is about the entire Hostetler family not just these two individuals. I LOVED EVERY SINGLE WORD!
