Publisher's Summary

There is no escaping a Reaper. I am an elite assassin, part of a brotherhood that only answers to Death. And when Death says your time is up, I’m coming for you…

Serving Death and the Reapers has been my life for centuries. I’ve always put my duty before everything, even my yearning for Death. But now, she’s fading - our foe is bent on destroying her and he will stop at nothing until he does. Death holds the key to our survival. I will do everything in my power to stop her from disappearing. For her, I will ensure we have the best fighting chance. For her…I will cross the divide keeping us apart.

Finally! The big show down.

This is by far the best book in the Reapers series. Death finally stands up instead of hiding and takes down her enemy. Love all the action and characters in different series coming together in this book.

10 star story and 8 star narration..

OMG! This book was soooo good I can’t believe it. For those of you who read Donna Grant’s Reaper series you’ll know exactly what I mean.

Xaneth, the Fea Queen Usaeil’s nephew and Balladyn the Dark Fea King joined with Cael and Erith and the other Reapers to battle Bran. Jeez, I was so tired of that guy. Glad he finally got what he deserved. Now, it’s Usaeil’s turn. She did capture Xaneth so I’m hoping he’ll be alright until he can be rescued.

*Sigh* and I’m so happy that Erith and Cael finally got together. They’d been hiding their feelings for one another for thousands of years, him being the leader of her Reapers and her thinking she didn’t deserve anyone’s love because of what she did in the past. This was the best of all the Reapers’ love stories.

There was explicit sex in this and Fek was used 20 times in place of the F-bomb.

As to the narration: Victoria McGloven has come a long way since the beginning of the Reapers series. AND I do love the voice of Erith/Death. Plus, her men’s voices have gotten much better. NOT a 2 star narration this time.
