Finn Hughes is one vulnerable hero

This is one of the best stories I've read loaded with steaming hot sex AND smart, heartfelt character development. One of the best of Skye Warren.

very very very good and what a tear jerker. ESPECIALLY if you have family that gets older and you take care of them.

Cliffhanger

This is so good. So many wow moments. The spice is ok. The story drama is good. So on to the next book. Happy ending awaits. Love the narrators, seriously.

This was a great beginning to the trilogy that is the story of Finn and Eva. Two people who live in a world of luxury, wealth and privilege, but in no way lead perfect lives.

I liked how their relationship builds and becomes more. He seems like such a playboy until you know his story, then it all makes sense. It’s sad and tragic, but she’s the perfect person to bring light into his life.

It ends on a heck of a cliffhanger, and I can hardly wait to read on.

The narrators both do a good job. They are pleasant to listen to.

Seriously? LGBTQ Youth Activism?

Good God. I’m 15 chapters in and the author has injected trans-activist propaganda and “pseudo subtle” messaging suggesting virtually everyone is probably gay and bisexual into the story.

It’s gratuitous, smarmy, and pathetic.

Let me be clear: Almost no one cares if people are gay. No one cares if a story reflects reality and maybe one person out of twenty is gay and happy. The days of mass condemnation of homosexuality are OVER - only the grievance addicted people, and organizations with agendas that require the “everyone hates us” mentality to continue to survive, refuse to see this.

Clearly this author is in that minority. Her writing is chock full of the pipe dream propaganda intended to virtue signal and con the masses into thinking half of the population is gay or trans.

It’s a lie. It isn’t real. And while that is okay as a story device when it’s relevant, it is SUPREMELY OBNOXIOUS when it is totally gratuitous and agenda driven. It’s insulting to readers who can see through the device.

And that leads me to the TRANS insanity and CHILDREN.

The author is clearly one of the small group of deluded people whose obsession with the trans agenda makes them blind to their heinous ideology. It’s a compulsion for these people—the moralizing and propagandizing.

It’s beyond any sane person’s comprehension

What is stunning is how in one chapter the author literally states that the teenage brother needs guidance about SEX because his brain is not fully developed.

HOW IRONIC - As this clearly reveals the author knows an OLDER teenager isn’t yet capable of fully processing and making judgements due to brain development limitations and lack of real life experiences.

Yet she is incapable of remembering this FACT when it comes to CHILDREN and the trans social contagion. Suddenly, a child being vulnerable and impressionable is inconvenient, so she just ignores it. It’s atrocious and inexcusable.

The hypocrisy isn’t just illogical, it’s dangerous and results in the utter destruction of the futures and health of thousands of children.

How otherwise intelligent people, as I assume this author is, cannot grasp that YOUTH and SEXUAL PREFERENCE should be MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE is stunning. And anyone who doesn’t understand this has ZERO business raising and/or caring for KIDS.

p.s. I, and the majority of people who chose this book DO NOT appreciate the smarmy propaganda for transactivism. We want to read to ESCAPE your lunacy, not be dive bombed with it.

And yes - I AM in the majority. You’ve deluded yourself if you don’t realize that 90% of people understand the current trans agenda is recent history’s greatest example of how greedy corporate interests can exploit vulnerable, weak, emotionally and mentally unstable people to create a need for what they sell. Add a mental health professional community chock full of people who themselves are mentally unhealthy and you now have everything you need to CON a generation of kids and their parents into believing that there’s a crisis that warrants destroying a child’s future with bone and reproductive destroying drugs and permanently maming a child’s body with irreversible surgeries that REMOVE THEIR BODY PARTS.

This is SICK. No matter how you try to justify it. No matter how you feel. It’s EVIL.

And news flash: 99% of these weak minded people are on the Left. That should tell you something.
