Narrators gave a fabulous performance

I love the Kent brothers. In this story, we meet River. River and Letty have known each other a long time, even though they have never met. You will fall in love with River just like Letty. Scott Rider and Michelle Sparks are the narrators. This was the first time I have heard either one. They gave a fabulous performance.

Great story

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook in the Takeback series by Riley Edwards. The narrators were new to me and I thought they did a good job with their performances in bringing the story and characters to life.

River Kent...need I say more?

River Kent... need I say more? I thought Echo Kent had cemented first place but River, oh my heart. Yes I know, River came first but River's audio didn't come first so I fell hard for Echo before hearing the brilliance of River's story and now I'm torn between two brothers...and avoiding Phoenix's equally swoonworthyness for now. But I digress as I wish I had a Kent brother of my own. Letty dear, you are one lucky fictional woman. To have that man so dedicated to you for 14 years without hesitation? No face to face meet, but a true, deep binding of souls on the most elemental way. The emotions are raw, what else would you expect from a Riley story? The danger stressful and the suspense pulse-pounding and achingly heart wrenching at times, and the love so utterly and devastatingly amazing. Listen for yourself as Michelle Sparks and Scott Rider bring Letty and River's story to life.

River and Lettie

I was waiting on River's story and I must say I wasn't disappointed!

River and Lettie have been "penpals" for a long., too long, time! They met in a weird but funny way and kept in contact. River slowly fell for Lettie and he needed and wanted to finally meet her. He missed some important parts of her life and decided, or was bullied :) to take the leap. He's always liked her spunk and knew she was his forever, even if she didn't.

Lettie was hurting and the pain was unlike something she has ever felt. She carried the world on her shoulders and blamed herself for things out of her control. Lettie needed an out for the things she carried on her back and in her soul. She needed to breath and her knight would soon get to her to stop the pain.

River and Lettie's story was an great journey of letting go and being free. Free from the tragedies that has been endured and free from the guilt. I loved this story and enjoyed the road they were on. The struggles they faced together made them stronger and showed how strong Lettie truly is.

Kudos to Scott Rider and Michelle Sparks for bringing this story to life.

Voice Is Off

the male narrator sounded way to old for River, it was throwing me off and this is one of my favorite books by Riley Edwards

Great narration

Enjoyed the storyline, but wished it was a tad bit longer, but especially enjoyed the duet narration and the voice of Scott Rider. I think this is the
first time I’ve heard him. Well done.

Dangerous Rescue

I loved this. Definitely a tear jerker. Letty is a firecracker but River can handle her.

Riley Edwards never fails to write fabulous stories! Loved every minute! You can’t go wrong with this or any of her other books!

River Flipping Kent!

Set in small-town Coeur d’Alene, Idaho this cozy romantic suspense will keep you on your toes. Riley did not disappoint with this epic best friends to “mine” love story. If you need a low-angst, refreshing, edge-of-your-seat, friends-to-lovers, the Dangerous Rescue audio is a must-listen!

I adore Michelle Sparks, she is a wonderful addition to the Rebel Family! Michelle’s portrayal of Letty’s character arc was incredible. She brought Letty to life with a delightful sweetness and passionate energy that captured all of Letty’s layers. Scott Rider was perfectly cast as the charming, protective, thoughtful, River. Their performances were well matched in tone and pacing. Their narration styles brought Riley’s characters and Letty & River’s love story off the page flawlessly. It’s possible I melted when Michelle said my name in this book…sure, Letty was talking about the O.G. Liz Taylor, but I’ll take it! I was hooked on this audiobook from chapter one and loved every minute!
