Family can mean friends

Loved the characters and the development of the story. How do you escape being judged by just being a family member? Escape and hide.

Davis&Jane

Emotions, a lot of them. We have Steam, Family Realtionships and you may cry like me. We are back with Takeback and I really loved shy Jane , who never really had love was able to learn what real family is. I also love me a big hero who shows love to his woman. This book is part of a series but is a standalone read. I had a twist and turn group emotions all through the book. Loved it!
The audio was just as good. I’ve never liked reading and doing audio so much as i do now. You get so much of the emotion while listening

Love this series, love Davis and Jane. This book didn’t disappoint, hot, sexy guy, strong woman, and great sex with a happy ever after ending.

Horrible Narration by Jeffrey Kafer.

Was very disappointed with the narrator. He was so robotic and in a constant state of yelling. He was so irritating I just wanted him to shut up and I almost couldn't finish it, The writing didn't help though. It was a haphazard storyline. Painfully slow in parts, too fast in others, too much filler, and This is the first book in this series that I haven't liked.

As always a gripping story

As always a gripping story with love, passion, and overcoming as Davis and Jane's convenient marriage turns real in record time. Davis didn't want to like Jane, much less love her, but his heart melted and I gotta say Jane wasn't the only one falling for Davis. That man was sweet, protective,and just plain swoonworthy. Add in some laughs and the action, danger, and suspense you expect from Takeback, and you get another terrific audio with awesome narration bringing the characters to life!

Davis and Jane

I absolutely love Davis and Jane's story. Jane is on the run from a man who should love her the most, Satan, he father. Satan is a well known leader of an MC and he needs his daughter for the cash she's worth. Jane was on the run and needed help to get out of this situation but who can she depend on, her brother Zeus? Zeus was the one person Jane could depend on but that changed when the hatred he had for his life bled from his veins and heart and he somewhat took that out on his sister. His motto was the only way out of his life was by death and he would make that happen any way possible but he would make sure Jane was okay even if she didn't understand it.

Davis saw Jane and instantly knew what he wanted and came up with a plan to assure Satan would no longer want his daughter. Marriage is something that would turn him away from her especially knowing who Davis worked for. He knew what doing this would entail but he worked with the best and the worst, in his eyes, to make it happen. Davis knew what he did once the marriage was done. He had what his heart and soul needed and he would do anything to keep her safe but can he do it?

I loved this story and Davis has moved up to the top of my favorites of the takeback crew (for now)!

Fake to Fire!

Davis and Jane decide to get “fake” married but that soon turns a little blurry. Jane has very complicated relationship with her brother who Davis absolutely can’t stand. The complexity of these characters shines through in this story. I adored how Davis felt protective of Jane even before he understood her or fell completely. I also loved how the women incorporated Jane right into the group! Jane is another strong female who doesn’t want to idly wait to be rescued/saved that you can respect. These two deserve a HEA and I think you’ll love this audio!

Story was awesome…the M/F voice performances not so much.

The story is great! However the male and female voices were a struggle to listen to. They both overdid the emotion and timing on basic text and made random dramatic pauses. I actually sped up the audio to 1.2x to deal with that. Much better.

I love Riley Edwards , I love how she writes the stories she creates, So far the first book in this series with Road is my favorite and I've listened to it many times especially when I want to relax and just enjoy a book.

This one as much as I like the story I do not like the narration of it . This is one I'd have been better off reading . Both the female and male narrators really messed this up for me. This is just my opinion so judge for yourself.
