Dangerous Indulgence: Dark Mafia Romance (Omerta Series, Book 6) brings a small town romance brimming with angst, betrayal, deceit, mystery, secrets, seductiveness and suspense. A gripping tale, compelling characters, & plot twists that keep your earbuds in. I love how it ends with a twisty happily ever after. Not so dark as expected but still worth a listen. If you have a sweet tooth for sugary sweets, suspense & danger this audio is right up your alley.


Narator Bamby Amber is not so polished as I would prefer when listening to audiobooks. I found it difficult to differentiate between the characters voices. She was also a bit overdramatic. I think she needs some voice lessons to improve her performance.

So many dangers!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. What an emotional and outstanding story! Rosa was a victim that suffered cruelties and is now in hiding. She is constantly looking over her shoulder and ready to run if she has to. Peyton was sent to bring her to the mob boss. I love how their story of love develops. They are constantly in danger as Peyton tries to save them. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat. The narrator does a good job, but there were times when I had trouble trying to figure out who was talking. However, I do highly recommend this book.

So many lies, suspense, secrets, twists , mystery and action. This is a great mafia story that kept my attention the entire time.
