Reese and Sadie

Sadie has her hands full with running a bakery and unfortunately taking care of her brother when she knows it a bad idea. He is now apart of a club and is bringing all the drama to her front door.

Sadie has been struggling trying to keep the bakery doors open and a roof over her head and of course not allowing anyone to help her. Reese loves Sadie's bakery but his eyes has really been on her. Reese overheard things going on and decides to slowly insert himself info her life.

Reese and Sadie's story is a slow simmer that burns hot! Reese wants to keep her safe but also allow her to be the person she really is. He hold nothing back from her and inserts himself into her life whole heartedly. He will stop at nothing to protect her, even if that means destroying what could be? Is he strong enough to take her on as well as her henchman brother?

The story of Reese and Sadie is dangerous. Dangerous to your time and your heart. You will not stop reading until the book is finished. Which for me took longer because I kept crying. It raised many emotions in me. It was so beautifully written.

Great story and narration

Another great story in the Takeback series with Reese and Sadie. I loved Reese’s protectiveness of Sadie but there were times she was too stubborn and proud but I admired her determination. I loved seeing everyone throughout the book and working together to help Sadie. Narrators Teddy Hamilton and Maxine Mitchell were wonderful as always bringing the story and characters to life.

Dangerous Games by Riley Edwards is small-town, big found-family romance at its best! The way this team rallies for and connects with each other’s significant others is heart-melting. Riley drops some tough love truth bombs that hit close to home and made my heart squeeze. Riley Edwards continues to outdo herself in this incredible Takeback series; Dangerous Games is an outstanding blend of suspense, heart, healing, and swoony romance.

I loved the pairing of Maxine Mitchell and Teddy Hamilton for the narration of Sadie and Reese. Maxine and Teddy’s character choices, tone, and pacing complemented each other perfectly to bring Riley’s heartfelt, gritty, alluring love story off the page. Maxine’s emotionally-charged performance of the spirited, resilient, feisty Sadie was outstanding. Teddy’s portrayal of the cool-headed, domineering, seductive smartass, Reese was swoon-worthy. I am loving the takeback series and i loved every second of this fun, fast-paced, and flirty audiobook! If you’re looking for a pulse-pounding, spicy, heartwarming romantic suspense, with plenty of eargasms, snag Dangerous Games today!

Reese and Sadie Fire!

Reese and Sadie are fire! Sadie has been taken advantage of so when Reese flirts, she doesn’t take it seriously. Reese has only allowed himself to have feeling less relationships after his ex-wife broke his trust and his heart so when he finds himself falling for Sadie he has to decide if he’s willing to take a chance or walk away. Sadie never asks for help and doesn’t want to be a burden on her friends but they are disappointed that she didn’t let them in. This one is perfect as they help each other heal and realize they can get that HEA they never thought they would get! There is always action/suspense to keep you guessing what exactly is going to happen next! Loved the narration and can’t recommend the audiobooks enough!

another amazing story

Riley Edwards iss amazing and always leads her readers on an emotional ride thru her stories. It's never all hearts and rainbows or all doom and gloom. And I love the thread of an ongoing background story thru her series. thank you Riley for another great read!!!

Another Must-Listen from Riley Edwards

This is the third audiobook in Riley Edwards’ fantastic Takeback series, and centers around the romance between Reese, who’s a member of the Takeback team, and Sadie, who owns and operates the town bakery. Neither wants a relationship, but the pull between them is too strong. And when Reese Turmel decides a full-on charm offensive is in order, no woman—not even Sadie—stands a chance. This story was intriguing, exciting, and completely compelling. And the steamy romance between Reese and Sadie captured my heart. Add to that the incomparable combined talents of Teddy Hamilton and Maxine Mitchell, and an already phenomenal story is taken to the next level. The level of emotion and passion these two narrators bring to their performances brings the text to life, making Dangerous Games an absolute must listen.

I liked all of it. Sadie was a character I could identify with. Reece was a character I wish existed in real life.

I could tell Reese was gonna be a charmer from the previous books, but my did he surpass even my expectations. When Reese loves, he loves hard, and although he never intended to fall for Sadie in that way, he was whacked up side the head with it like a 2 x 4, shocking the whole team....and then he whole heartedly embraced all that came with it as he patiently waited for Sadie to get there. Sadie may have had no intentions of letting him in her heart, but it was futile to resist as he burrowed his way in. These two brought on so many emotions given both their painful pasts as they tried to deny the irresistible attraction between them. With action, danger, and harrowing suspense as their future hung in the balance, Riley brought us another amazing book in the Takeback series. Teddy Hamilton and Maxinne Mitchell did an outstanding job as always bringing her characters and their emotions to life.
