I was given a free code to this audible book by the author.
The voice actor Abigail Atherton did a spectacular job.
This story evoked so many emotions within me. I did not want to stop listening and was able to finish it today.
I love this story.
I look forward to more stories from Rebecca Yelland.
Thank you for the free code. It is time to go buy the paperback.

Excellent Narration!
The narrator has done an incredible job bringing this story to life. A must experience for lovers of historical fiction/literary fiction! A roller coaster of emotions await the listener on this journey of young woman's shock of learning of her estranged mother's past.
