Publisher's summary

Nartan Sagebrush's name may mean "to dance" in Arapaho, but he dances in secret. Forced to abandon his Shamanic apprenticeship, he is overwhelmed with homesteader life, and even his spirit guides are at their wit's end. Nartan takes fate into his own hands. Instead of divine intervention, a wife will help with his responsibilities and in assimilating into the Wylder community.

Olive Muegge answers Nartan's "wife wanted" advertisement. Wildly independent, she has secretly dreamed of a family to call her own. The secret she carries inside makes her an outcast, and her wild ways don't fit the quiet wife Nartan thinks he desires.

Despite their differences, they are drawn to each other, but a mistake may drive them apart. Will Nartan embrace his Shamanic past to save them both, or will he choose to rid himself of Olive forever?

Amazing story!

Nartan is struggling. Not able to figure out his way, he consults the spirit guides who are also unable to help his struggle. Advertising for a wife may be his way out. Olive responds to him, and now she is hoping she will be able to be what he needs. She too is lost, and thinks he will not understand her. Determined to be together and the spirit guides saying they are soulmates, Nartan is ready to make a life with her. But what will he do when he finds out Olive's secret? This is a fun addition to the Wylder West series. A little paranormal is perfect for the series adding to the western way of life. Nartan certainly is stubborn, and l love when Olive tries to cook! Humor infused as well, this is a great listen!

Dawson McBride continues his narration of his fabulous series. He falls into character with such ease. I find his voice comforting and love to hear him tell a story. Nartan has just enough stubbornness and Olive a little bit of adventure and bravery. The perfect mix for these characters and he brings it all to life.

Settle in for a Wyld dance!

I loved this story when I read the book, and it was a delight to settle back and listen to Dawson McBride's smooth, deep voice. Despite their insecurities about themselves and each other, the listener knows how Olive and Nartan feel about each other before they do, which made it fun to root for these characters to realize they're soul mates.
