Slow start, didn’t enjoy the reader

The story itself starts off very slow but in the end gets more engaging. I was not a fan of the reading performance and thought her voices were weak and annoying in this story.

a wonderful modern fairytale.

I sit here weeping tears of joy after the book finished. very few words to describe this. This is the story mother's should read to their daughters. it is very touching with a lot of good messages. Don't wish it, do it.

Touching

Narrator tried to give each character a unique voice but mixed up occasionally. Overall, good.

A wonderful story for the young and old.

This book turned out to be a wonderful surprise. A great story, beautifully told.
I would recommend this to all. perfect for a family car trip with engrossing appeal for all ages. :)

Wonderful story!

I listened to this book not knowing until it was over that it is considered a children's book. I am very well read and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great story and narration that held my attention such that I carried my IPhone around with me so that I wouldn't have to stop listening.

I recommend this for young teens to adults who love a little fantasy.

Good story-amazing narrator!

The story was good, even if it seemed to drag on at times...and possibly longer than it should have. The narrator did an excellent job with all the voices and different characters.

Refreshing Characters

3.5 stars. Three children who have special gifts are raised together and even though they are not siblings they are taught, that among themselves, love and loyalty are important above all else. Upon the verge of adulthood it becomes clear that they must embark on a dangerous expedition in order to save one of their lives. This was a good story but for me it was a YA fantasy.

Fantastic

I struggled with this at first, and I'm glad I hung in there. This was a very story to listen to also to read. Its entertaining and edge of seat interesting. I have recommended this to several friends. The narrator makes the story all the more exciting by their inflections and excitement. Loved It.

Love story appropriate for teens.

Cute story about coming of age siblings. Nothing graphic, just a few suggestive statements. Good for 13 and older.

I loved the way the descriptions were so vivid. I cried and laughed and worried. a truly magical experience to listen to. great work and even greater book!
