l thoroughly enjoyed this series. l really did, l found myself totally immersed with the characters lives and it was a joy to listen to. l tell you, these women had grit, l compared how l would have fared and found myself wanting bigtime! These are so well written and narrated beautifully that l cant wait to start more.
Recommended listening.

I found the stories to be interesting & fun. It’s a great read. I’m glad the girls stood up for themselves & found their happiness.

Della, Hattie, and Pearl

Vivi Holt is such a talented author, and I loved this box set of 3 clean romances. The imagery is so well done, and the stories have some very thought provoking elements as well. Its so refreshing having a clean historical stories that have depth of characters. I so enjoyed listening to Della, Hattie, and Pearl. Each story is a standalone listen and has the happy endings I so love. Each story is original and takes a different path in terms of the characters. Meghan Kelly was perfect for bringing these characters to life. She gives the characters distinguishable voices and adds very realistic emotions. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I highly recommend this listen. I will definitely listen to more books by this talented author and narrator.

Three wonderful stories

Della, Hattie and Pearl will delight you, but each book is a standalone and no character appears in the other books except through the mail when the girls write to each other. I'm not sure I would happily forgive my parents for selling me off as an mail order bride without my permission. The parents only got one of the men right and that took some time on Della's part to come to love and accept her groom.The other two don't even marry the man their parents set them up with and we thank the Lord in heaven for Hattie could never live with an outlaw. Pearl falls in love with the brother of the man who sent for her. Unfortunately, I feel the author did the man an extreme injustice when the man clearly had OCD. Pearl wrote him off because he didn't measure up to her expectations and she gave him no chance at all. I think Pearl was the most shallow of all the sisters. Wyatt, the brother, took every advantage to pull Pearl's attention and any affection she might have developed for his brother away, because he really wanted her.

Fabulous!!!

I loved it from the first word! You are drawn in to the girl's lives and left only wanting more. I sincerely hope that there will be additional books in this series! What about the cousins? Did all the sisters travel back to New York and meet the husbands? Please continue!

Exciting

This is such a wonderfully exciting set of stories with lots of action. The sisters are very resourceful. They stick to their values no matter what they face. I very much enjoyed listening to these books.

The adventures of the Stout sisters

The three Stout sisters, Della, Hattie and Pearl, are used the the finer things of life, living in the Upper Eastside of NY. However, when their father & uncle are swindled out of their business, and their reputation in ruins, the Stout family is forced to send off their daughters as mail-order brides. Each story in the boxset details how the sister of that story, deals with a life that is so different from what they’re used to...and the men that help them through it all.
Great historical stories and narration that immersed you into that period. Worth a relisten.

A Must Have Box Set!

If you are into clean historical romances then you will love this series... and how great that they are offering it as a box set! These are so much fun. It's about three sisters from a wealthy family and use to a life style accordingly but then the family loses everything and their dad sends each of them off as mail order brides. Each book is devoted to one of the sisters. Simply a lot of good clean fun with drama, comedy and hunky cowboys!
