This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Someone who likes quick listens
Would you ever listen to anything by Dan Zevin again?
Doubt it
Have you listened to any of Dan Zevin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
He read the story fine.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Few laughs in some of his experiences that I can relate to but some were to stretched out. Got boring.
Any additional comments?
Had high expectations being a 1st time father. I have listened to a few other "father" type comedies. This one just fell short. Started funny with the mini-van chapters and a couple others but some of the stories were just too drawn out. Wouldve been better to shorten a few and add some other experiences.
