Publisher's Summary

Aston Locke

Whispers of the Locke brothers fill the town, facts and reality twisted to fit what these motherf--kers believe they know about us.

That we’re sadistic bastards, incapable of any real emotions or fear.

Maybe they’re not wrong about that.

That is, until I set my sights on Kadence King, getting just as drawn to her as I am the darkness. It’s the first time I’ve felt anything in a long time.

But would she really be scared knowing the depth, the lengths I go with my brothers to make any f--ker who crosses us pay?

I need a woman who can accept me for who I am. For what I am.

I’m hoping like hell it’s her, because I want nothing more than to claim her as mine....

Kadence King

I know Aston’s dangerous, know people fear him. But I want him. I’m drawn to him, just as he’s drawn to the darkness.

I should be afraid of him, should turn the other way, but I can’t. I’ve gone mad and let him in my room, in my life, allowing him to consume me.

He possesses me, dominates me. Aston Locke shows me what it means to want to be claimed by him and only him.

And when he tells me I'm his, I have no doubt that’s the truth.

Because in the end it’s what I want too. No matter how dangerous he is....

Warning: Damaged Locke is a short co-written, kind of twisted love story from New York Times best-selling author Victoria Ashley and USA Today best-selling author Jenika Snow. If you like it hot and a little rough...this is the book for you. Age 18+

Loving those Lockes!

This first book of the series is just long enough to leave you wanting. We meet Aston, the youngest of the the Lockes, and the one that is being protected by his brothers. Not to be smothered, Aston does step out to protect those who need it and he sees Kadence King. The attraction between the two is immediate, and the insta-lust is strong. But will she be willing to be claimed by one of the infamously, dangerous Locke brothers? We get a glimpse into the brothers with this story, their history and their alpha tendancies. It's a quick, steamy listen with everything I love about Victoria Ashley's writing. This being a collaboration with Jenika Snow makes me want to look for more, to get to know the others and explore how this family has come to have the reputation they do. It's sure to be an fun ride! With the explosive narration by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross, you know it's one you will not want to miss!

Great Book

Damaged Locke (Locke Brothers #1) by Victoria Ashley and Jenika Snow was a great read. The Locke brothers have a bad reputation that precedes them. They are feared by just about everyone in their town. Everyone except Kadence, she witnesses something that the brothers didn't want her to see. I absolutely loved reading Aston and Kadence's story and can't wait to read more by these great authors.

Damaged Locke

This book is amazing! Especially if you don’t have a ton of time to listen but want a good book with characters that pull you in and connect with you so quickly. Loved the ending and how it gives you a glimpse of what the next book is about.

Dangerous, Naughty and Oh So Delicious!

The Locke brothers are dangerous, mysterious and destructive but you can't help to get drawn in and want to know more. Aston is the youngest Locke brother and has had his fair share of damage and turmoil. Then one destructive night Kadence the bada** that she is gets entrigued and sets her sights on Aston. She knows it's dangerous to get close to a Locke but that doesn’t stop her. You can't judge a Locke by their name because they are so much more than most people in their town think they are. They are caring, loyal, protective and family orientated yet you don't want to cross them. The have a strong bond with each other that's indestructible. Aston is just so hot and dark. Everyone has there own story and what makes them tick and act the way they do and Aston’s reason is so heart breaking. You'll eagerly go through the story wanting to pull back the layers of Aston's complex life. I'm glad that he has the support of his brothers because he'd be screwed without them holding him together and getting him to where he is. I'm so excited for everyone to read this book. Victoria and Jenika are bringing us a new set of book boyfriends that we will no don't fall in love with one by one. I already have and it's only the first book. I can't wait for what is to come from this series because what they created is special and pure magic. Well done ladies you sure knew how to bring us a story that is different and consuming. I'm hooked! Bring on the rest of the Lockes! I... NEED... MORE... NOW!!!!

Short and Steamy!

This was my first Victoria Ashley and Jenika Snow's book. This is the first book in The Locke Brothers Series. This story is short, steamy and fast-paced. This is a good start for this Series. Aston and Kadence share an instant-lust-love. We can tell that the Locke Brothers aren't gentle with everyone. Not at all. They are brutal and they are doing what it took to protect their family. The narration was well done as always with Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott. I enjoyed my listening. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Hot and Rough!

Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott just burst this story wide open with their narration. Fantastic! Aston Locke and his brothers are a bunch of twisted men. Violence runs in everyone of them. Aston has staked his claim on Kadence King, and he made it known. Hawt story!

Raw and Sexy!

This is a quick, raw, and sexy story. Kadence King has moved in with her best friend, Melissa, wanting a fresh start in a new town. She sees Aston Locke confronting someone and is immediately drawn to him. Aston wants the woman who watches him, and is surprised by his fierce desire to claim her. Aston is the youngest of the Locke brothers. They had a heartbreaking start in life and even tho they are rough and ruthless, they are driven to protect the defenseless. This is an intriguing start to the Locke Brothers series. We get a brief glimpse into these characters lives and leaves us wanting to know more.
Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott's narration was smoking hot. They portrayed these broken and flawed characters flawlessly, Their interpretations of Aston and Kadence allowed us to see them with empathy and understanding.
This quick story left me wanting more of these Locke Brothers!

Nice little short

I thought it would be darker than what it was but it was better than I anticipated.

Narrators- Both Wen and Kai did a great job. I love Kai's voice. It's soothing patience is very calming to the listener. Wen's voice is fantasticly theatrical and it works for him though I'd much prefer his normal speaking voice particularly when paired with Kai's soothing one. In any case, his theatrical voice always puts my brain in Broadway stage mode unlike other narrators, my brain sees movies and whatnot. Whatever- he was my jam in this book!

Story- Honestly, novellas okay just okay for me. They typically move way to fast into Instalove but this wasn't exactly the case for this book. It had just the right pace to keep me interested in this book but not enough to keep me wanting more from the series. Anyway- don't let my opinion stop you from getting it if you like the bad boy bros who live with one another and claim women. 🤔

Great start to this series

Wow, I was so wishing I was Kadence!! Aston is everything I want and need in a man. Respectful but demanding in the bedroom! This storyline shows great talent from Victoria and Jenkins. Well done Kai and Wen, you rock!
