Great for preteen boys!

I’m always looking for resources to equip my preteen ministry. And the boys can be rough! I love that this devotional is an audiobook! Each devotion is short - which is perfect! Highly recommend.

I will say the narrator pronounces Colossians funny but otherwise is great, and most young boys probably won’t notice that lol.

What I really love about this book is that it tackles relevant and relatable aspects of a preteen's life, like dealing with friendships, building good character, personal responsibility, and so much more. A TRUE GEM OF A BOOK!

“Daily Morning Devotional for Preteen Boys Aged 10-12” is one of those books that any parent or pre-teen (and even older!) will find an invaluable addition to their daily devotions.
What I love about this offering from Biblical Teachings is the wide range of subjects covered by the author, all very concisely presented in an easy-to-understand way.
I especially like Helpful Matthew’s narration. His voice is gentle, with just enough hint of “quirk” thrown in to appeal to any listener.
In an age where people can’t decide their gender and where prayer and character-building are deemed relics of the past, this beautiful book dives straight into Biblical solutions for such things as honesty, gratitude, integrity, forgiveness (oh, how important THAT is!), humility and the list goes on.
Being able to define who God and Jesus are from scripture is a lifetime blessing that serves to anchor anyone in their faith, all of which is addressed in Part 2, along with prayer, worship, grace (another important one!), wisdom, and much more.
Growing up, I was never offered practical solutions from scripture to life’s problems, so the Bible seemed disconnected and irrelevant.
Not so with this wonderful book!
Besides dealing with peer pressure, empathy, conflict resolution, and other critical social skills, Part 3 also addresses bullying. This is a daily and agonizing problem for most kids that shatters self-esteem and instills fear. How I wish I’d had this guidance when I was a kid!
I can’t say enough about how well-rounded this book is, covering everything from your family relationships, instruction on emotional intelligence (who even teaches THAT in ANY school?), personal responsibility with the critical short lessons on time management, self-discipline, and more, as well as finances. I never even learned how to balance a checkbook until college (and then, not very well.)
Rather than delineate the full spectrum of wisdom this book offers, I encourage you to look at the table of contents and discover for yourself the blessings that await.
I would give “Daily Morning Devotional for Preteen Boys Aged 10-12” TEN STARS if I could - very highly recommended!

These daily morning listens have got me in a good routine and I am really glad I listened to this book!

Inspiring

Modern era has in some respect lost its way spiritually, and technology advances have increased stress levels in teenagers. This simple devotions guide is useful for teenage boys, i like the idea of it being kept short and sweet. Highly recommend!
