Pleasant enough

Just ok. The format of telling the story through one-sided letters became tedious, and the story was very predictable. I thought the narrator over-acted in her reading.

As lovely as always

I first read this book when I was young and it’s just as good as ever. An imaginative way to tell a story.
The narrator did a wonderful job of capturing the wonder of the story teller.
