Death By Narration

I love Kay Hooper's Bishop Crime Novels, that being said, I'm sorry but this is some of the worst narration I have ever heard. It made it completely impossible to enjoy the story. I had to get my credit back. Her voice just isn't pleasant to listen to, and it was more like she was reading the words. The worst is when she tries to change her voice when narrating the parts of a male, very poorly done. Don't waste your money! I don't know who decides who narrates these books, but maybe they should not be the one who chooses. Do yourself a favor and buy the actual book!

Too much conversation

There was too much conversations among the agents and less suspense. I do enjoy most of her books but this one not as much.

This was not a book I enjoyed too gruesome. Was hard to follow. Looking to see if this author has other books with the same type of contact

I really enjoyed this book. Great narrator.

Awesome plot. I'll need to look back and find the antagonists they've mentioned so reeducate myself on the history.

I have read Kay Hooper for over 20 years

Ok I absolutely love Kay Hoopers story lines and the psychic/mystery books. I narrator took so much AWAY from this book. The characters where hard to distinguish because every character sounded so similar. Please hire a couple of people for the next book. I think I have read every Kay Hooper book in print I am kinda pissed I didn’t get to fully enjoy because of this.

Confusing at Best

Not a fan, too much back and forth between characters capabilities, not enough detecting. The narrator was boring, absolutely no inflection when speaking. Disappointed.

Good, but the end fell a little flat.

I enjoyed "Curse of Salem" very much. However, the ending fell a little flat. It just needed more drama and suspense and less of a rush to the end.

Excellent conclusion to Salem story

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The narrator is excellent and adds to the strength of the story. This book continues/finishes a Salem story that was presented in an earlier book. I really liked the Salem characters from the earlier book and was glad they continued in this one. Bishop, Miranda, and 4 agents that are familiar to us from other books are part of the plot.

Save your money!

From the very first sentence your attention is NEVER engaged! Totally boring just word after word without a single sentence to capture your interest.

Same stuff

I was disappointed in this book. I still love the characters. I’ll buy next book.
