Entertaining read, narrator could be a bit better, but easy to listen to. Great advice for building a strong company culture.

Great advice for company culture

I returned this book. The title inspired me to buy it but the content was disappointing. The author gives unnecessarily long and complex examples from the oil services industry that were technical and hard to generalize from to today’s remote operations. Also the learnings did not reflect a diverse business environment (the “employees” got gifts of golf shirts and baseball caps and their wives got Christmas ornaments. Finally, the narrator’s voices is flat and lifeless. Initially I thought it was computer generated. There might be wisdom buried in this book but it was too much work to dig out the treasure.

Great if you’re in the oil services sector
