What I really like about Jenna Kent is that she lets you know exactly what to expect. In her author bio she describes her books as, “over-the-top, absurdly ridiculous-but always with a happy ending.” And that’s what you get!

I really like the crazy love affair between mafia princess, now mafia Queen, Mia, and mafia assassin, Lucia. It’s crazy but so, so good!

The world Jenna Kent has created is pretty fucking awesome! I see more of her books in my future! And Lois Ridge did a great job bringing the characters to life!

This is the best one ever!! I cannot wait for the next book! So well written, engaging, entertaining, and so much spice. Don’t forget there is lots of blood and murder. I didn’t start this series from the beginning and I wish I did! I will listen to this series multiple times!

Definitely different

This story was definitely different but I still really enjoyed it. The author gives a large trigger warning at the being but it is by far not that dark and I found the story a bit amusing. highly recommend this series
